One of the most effective hindrances Satan uses against believers is distraction . Satan can veer the believer from a growing personal relationship with Jesus to activities that may or may not be good things . He can distract the believer from victory in Jesus to fears about the future and regrets about the past . He can turn a heart from the grace and mercy of Christ to legalistic self-righteousness , from focus on God's glory to the pursuit of personal ambition , from character-based spiritual transformation to activity-based performance . The list is endless and dangerous . The Bible says the believer's eyes should be focused on Jesus Himself at all times . Nothing must distract the believer from making Jesus the center of his or her life . '' No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God '' ( Luke 9:62 ) .
Believers face temptation to conform to the world's perspective every day. The temptation to conform to the world is marketed well- abortion as choice, lust as freedom of expression, and greed as determination . Each believer must develop a keen eye for God's truth and then stand his or her ground against the world often feeling alone against the masses . The struggle can be exhausting ( 1 John 2: 15 – 16 ) . But for all the clever marketing the world does , the difference between the world and the Father are clear when God's Word is used as a lens . Jesus said , '' Take heart ! I have overcome the world'' ( John 16 : 33 ).
To get the manifested Presence of God , we must persevere as Jacob did . When God sees how determined and persistent we are to know Him , He will reveal Himself to us . Remember , He sent His Son Jesus to die for us that His people could be reconciled back to Him . He did all of this just to get close to us . Just think of what He will do for us if we go after Him !

Ms. Stewart was an award winning media conglomerate whose career spanned over 20 years in Radio, TV and as a Print Media Personality. Ms. Stewart was the Director of News Programming for Radio One-DC Stations (93.9) WKYS-FM; (102.3) WMMJ-FM; (104.1) WPRS-FM; (1450) WOL-AM; WYCB-AM and the Syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show heard in (40) U-S cities. She has also worked as a Reporter/Anchor for CBS Affiliate WBTV News 3; Guest Appearances on TV Networks NBC, ABC, Fox News; The Rev. Al Sharpton Show; and The Dr. Michael Eric Dyson Show.
Ms. Stewart was an accomplished writer and author. She wrote and published her first book "Faith and The 3 P's Overcoming Obstacles With Prayer, Persistence and Positive Thinking, where she received enthusiastic response and book signings.
She has awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to deserving students across the U.S. In support of the scholarship fund, Ms. Stewart created & produced a series of Talent and Step Show competitions that drew crowds of over 40,000 plus. She was a proud member of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
As we say good bye to our dear sister, we will always love and cherish her in our hearts for we shall see her again in heaven.

Please allow us to share part of our vision with you. These thoughts have been laid on my heart thru the spirit, from real life experiences that have been shared with us.
I have very little regard for Ministries, Pastors, Churches, Evangelist, International Ministries, Charities ect… Who have the support of loving charitable Christian people, by way of Tides, donations, gifts, pledges and the like, (whether they be from the poor, average, or well to do) but don’t operate with a true sense of giving.
We ourselves have a giving spirit and have supported International and Mega Ministries but their help doesn’t trickle down to help those in need in my community! How about yours? It may never happen! I know folk who have tided religiously with their church, and when faced with personal hardship have be directed to seek help from The Department of Social Services….Sad but True!
After viewing countless Religious/Spiritual programs, Concerts, Testimonies, Websites, documentaries, and the like, on mega Christian Networks like TBN and CBN and receiving emails like this one:
After having contacted and made Pledges and Donations to Ministries of this kind, like countless others have wanting to help those in need. I realized they ask you to partner with them in their efforts to spread the Gospel. I wondered what it really meant when they said partner with us? I believe good things are being done, but where is the partnership? You give, but it is as if you are paying for a product or service. I have personally tried to contact some of these organizations to solicit some feedback with my concerns and vision to no avail.
Now, having co-founded a Musical Ministry, as I began to network and ask people for support for the Ministry, I felt as though I were doing the very same thing, and I know we want to inspire people to seek a personal relationship with God and help those in need, for we live in a time where there is GREAT NEED!
What God has put on my heart is this… A true partnership with a Ministry, Church, foundation (ect…
The universal truth is, it is in our giving we receive. It is the charge of every Ministry to take what is donated to them to do for others in need. So it is every Ministries responsibility to give., however, if your ministry is in lack there is little you can do to help. If Ministries include other ministries in their giving, it will allow additional funds for their causes….A simple example, if I give to X Ministry this month, X Ministry will have those funds to work with that Month, in turn, if X Ministry gives to my Ministry next month, I will have those funds to work with that month. So. If this simple exercise of giving is adopted among many Ministries, a guaranteed flow of income will be in motion for the Ministries to operate with, not counting the individual donations/pledges, or donations/pledges made by others for tax purposes. Meaning every ministry should have the giving go both ways, so the giving helps all involved. Example: We have a music Ministry, so we donate and pledge by way of Concert and Cd Revenue along with Benefit performances and fund raising events. We can also include an exchange of link posts to one another’s websites for traffic promotion for Donations and Pledges to one another, not just one way giving..
For individuals who give with no organization affiliation, they should be given personal assistance when needed and always be given a gift! I believe this is a true Spirit of giving that will add integrity and honor to the building of the Kingdom.
We truly need a unified effort for this to work…Please give us your honest input regarding this matter…

How many folks do you know who are struggling with the necessities in life, right in your own community?

Kingdom Blessings All.
When most people are getting ready for sleep or rest from a long day or night of doing whatever it takes to maintain their status in life, (job, family, kids, business, ministry, ect...) or build on what they have accomplished, I’m wide awake, can’t sleep or rest. My mind seems to stay in a state of unrest because I know someone doesn’t have a place to sleep, and somebody kids don’t have food to eat; ect…but; some couple just flew to the islands to have dinner and have a private jet waiting to get them home so they won’t miss their tennis lesson the next day, but I have no control over it.
When I was a active addict I would burn the candle on both ends to get and stay high until I was burned out just not to have to deal with so called reality…I had no control over that either.
However, today even though I can’t sleep because of the things out of my control, The Holy Spirit that lives within me reassures me “We” as a people can make a difference.
For years black people have been asked to pool their resources to become owners of businesses instead of just consumers only to eventually sell out and think about themselves, once again…like crabs in a barrel, pulling one another down being their own worst enemy never realizing the enemy in self. Don’t delude yourself…The truth is, it’s going to get worse before it gets better, yet those who have made up minds to be their brothers keeper will prosper even in times such as these. However; you have to be genuine, and you must have faith! Guilt will destroy any hope for change, so it is not my intention to feed ones guilt, but to let you know you can make a difference. Together we can save lives, create businesses and jobs; cloth and feed the needy, care for the elderly, mentor our youth, care for the handicapped and those who live with infectious disease, fund feasible research…HEAL THE LAND… As individuals, we can…SHOP TILL WE DROP…. and leave it all behind when we DIE for our families to dispute over.
We need your support to make a difference…Give and it shall be given you, pressed down, 100 fold if you have faith in something other than yourselves. I shared this because the Spirit within compelled me to, and maybe…some of you can’t sleep either…

The IMEA or The International Music and Entertainment Association, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and serving as an advocate to individuals and organizations within the performing arts industries. The IMEA Awards, presented by the International Music and Entertainment Association, Inc. and produced by Colt D. Chambers Theatrical Enterprises, were developed to honor and recognize the best in independent music and community/regional theatre worldwide.
Dreamin’ Out Loud Entertainment is based out of Kansas City, MO and was nominated and won in the Record Label of the Year category.
McCarter, the flagship artist for Dreamin’ Out Loud Entertainment who was discovered and signed in October 2012 had been nominated in two categories, Christian/Gospel Female Vocalist of the Year and Christian/Gospel Entertainer of the Year for her self released 2012 single, “Free From Me” which was produced by Nashville Producer Jim Cooper. Katelyn won both awards.
Katelyn just recently completed recording vocals for her debut cd with Producers Jonathan Crone and Eric Copeland in Nashville, TN. The 11 song project will be released in 2014. Katelyn was both a presenter and recipient at the inaugural awards show. As a presenter, she announced the nominees and winner for the Christian / Gospel Male Vocalist of the Year and presented the award to Christian recording artist, J. Douglas Wright. http://www.jdouglaswright.com
The next category up was Christian / Gospel Entertainer of the Year and a very surprised McCarter heard her name announced as the overall winner by presenter Jenny Holmes. After a musical performance by J. Douglas Wright, Katelyn was once again surprised to be announced as the winner of the Christian / Gospel Female Vocalist of the Year by presenter J. Douglas Wright.
Later that evening it was announced that Dreamin’ Out Loud Entertainment had been selected as the winner in the category of Record Label of the Year. That award was also accepted by McCarter.
