People are not changed by what you preach, but by the measure of your life released through your message. Christ life is what we call the gospel;, not his message- his message was a reflection of his life. His message could not save humankind that's why he gave his life and his life gave credence to his message.
Listen young man! It's all about how you live, not how you preach. We have a generation of preachers who careless about their way of life but are so obsessed about preaching engagements. To such ministers, immorality is no longer a sin. The "sleep" around with ladies, but still mount the pulpit, preach, and release fake prophecies to their ignorant congregation. Some even go as far as keeping their sin partners in their hotel rooms while there are on the pulpit preaching. After their pulpit display, they return to their sin bed and back to the pulpit. Who are we fooling, God or the people?

Above all, taking the shield of faith, ‘’
But what is faith? (Hebrews 11:1) Says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We not only have to have the shield of faith, we have to know how to use it. Why does it say ‘above all’ take the shield of faith? Simply for the reason that salvation (the helmet) righteousness (the breastplate) the gospel (the shoes) and both the written Word of God (the belt of truth) and spoken Word of God (the sword) must all be received by faith. The shield of faith is movable to deflect attacks no matter from which direction they come. If the devil cannot get to you directly (from the front) he will attack from another direction. If all personal attacks on you fail because of the strength of your faith, he will often attack you through another person to attempt to provoke fear or offense to allow him a foothold. Refusal to fear or be offended will foil even these attacks. God’s word is very plain that if we resist the devil he will flee from us. By exercising faith in God’s provisions and God’s power, we can be equipped to defeat Satan and his attacks.

We all know only too well that our life will end sooner or later with the coming of death. God sent His son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into the world to open up a way of life. The way of salvation from death is the very heart of the Christian Gospel. Our sins separate us from God, who is the source of all life. Jesus came to bring man to God, by showing the way of life. A man may know his Bible perfectly, from Genesis to Revelation: he may have a thorough understanding of Bible teaching – but that will not save him. Unless he accepts the sacrifice Jesus has made for him, he can have no HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE.
We are not alone in our battle with sin. Others have faced the same thing and have experienced God’s deliverance. All our temptations are common to all men, so we cannot hide behind the idea that our problem is different and thereby seek to excuse our sin by its uniqueness. There is great comfort in knowing that others have faced similar and even worse testings and temptations and have endured by the strength and faithfulness of God
Since God’s desire and goal is that we might not sin, how we have victory over sin? Here we are dealing with the issue of experiencing God’s victory over the temptation to sin, and over sinful patterns or life-dominating practices that may have defeated a Christian all his (or her) life. Because of the many temptations to sin, believers may wonder how they can handle these temptations. Or because of a pattern of failure, they may wonder if they really can break a habit that has dominated them all their lives. By the grace of God, the believer’s union with Christ, and the power of the Spirit of Christ, the answer is a resounding, YES
God hates sin! But He also loves the sinner, even those so wicked that you and I might find it difficult to love. Jesus said that God’s love is perfect, or complete. It is this love that is the basis of our hope. We are important to God because we are His creation… We must understand that while our God is God of love, He is also completely righteous. Therefore, He cannot simply ignore our sins, but instead has acted in our behalf to deal with them. That is why the message of the gospel is referred to as GOOD NEWS. "
