How To Use Quick-drying Silicone Sealant

If the use of glass glue is partially or completely sealed, the solidification time is determined by the closeness of the seal. In a place of absolute closeness, it is possible to remain uncured forever. If the temperature is raised, the glass will soften. The gap between metal and metal bonding should not exceed 25mm. In all kinds of bonding situations, including airtight conditions, the adhesion effect should be thoroughly checked before the equipment is used. In the curing process, acid glass glue will produce a smell due to the volatilization of acetic acid, which will disappear in the curing process. There will be no smell after curing.

 

4.Adhesion: A. Wipe the surface of the metal and plastic completely, remove the oil, and then wash the whole surface with acetone except for the plastic. If it is rubber surface, apply sandpaper and rub it with acetone. Please observe the precautions when using acetone. B. Apply the glass glue evenly on the surface of the prepared object. If the two surfaces are glued together, place one side properly first and press the other side to squeeze out the air, but be careful not to extrude the glass. 5.Seal: the silicone glass sealant also can be used for sealing purposes according to the above steps. Squeeze the glass glue into the joint or the seam so that the glass glue is in full contact with the surface.

 

6.Cleaning: before curing, the glass glue can be erased with a cloth or paper towel. After curing, it should be cleaned with a scraper or xylene, acetone and other solvents.

The Internal And External Lubrication Of PVC Lubricant

Lubricant is an indispensable additive in PVC processing. For lubricants, the commonly referred function in industry's can be summarized in two points, they are: it reduces the friction pre-melting particles of polyvinyl chloride and the macromolecules in the polyvinyl chloride melt. It is actually the most typical summary of the two aspects of lubricant action (internal and external lubrication). Then, we will discuss and analyze the internal and external lubrication of PVC lubricant from the technical level for you.

1.Internal lubrication

In terms of PVC, the internal lubrication of the lubricant and the plasticizer can be regarded as the same kind of material, playing the role of plasticizing or softening. The difference is that the polarity of the lubricant is lower and the carbon chain is longer. Therefore, compared with plasticizers, lubricants and PVC are less compatible. Lubricants are incompatibly (and moderately compatible) with polyvinyl chloride, so only a small number of lubricant molecules can pass through the chains of the polymer like plasticizers, weakening their mutual attraction. When the polymer is deformed, the chains can slip and rotate more easily without lowering the glass temperature of the polymer too much.

2.External lubricant

External lubrication refers to the interface lubrication mechanism. The lubricant is attached on the surface of the molten resin or on the surface of the processing machine or mold, forming a layer of lubricant molecules. lubrication interface which is formed by the existence of molecular layer of lubricant, reduced the friction between the resin and the processing machinery as as result. 3.What will happen if PVC lubricant is not used well?

 As binders, calcium aluminates are used in concretes and mortars for specialized applications for their properties of resistance to corrosion, abrasion and heat combined with rapid hardening and the ease of controlling grading variations.

 Calcium aluminate cements are also used in combination with other fine components. Hydraulic binders with new properties are then obtained. In this way, aluminates act as both a complex hydraulic binder and a mineral reagent interacting with the other components in the mix.

 As reagents, calcium aluminates are found in non-hydraulic systems. This is the case in metallurgical treatments (iron and steel industry, foundry) where specific grades of calcium aluminate are used for their low-temperature melting properties and for trapping molten metal impurities.

Calcium Aluminate Cement Construction method:

  1. When preparing refractory concrete, fix on the aggregate according to using condition. Choose the proper capacity graduation to make maximum density. Be noted to match and adapt with cementing material.
  2. According to certain proportion, add water and mix by man or machine into mortar and then begin casting construction. Use up the ready mortar within 40 min. Calcium Aluminate  Cement’s hydration heat concentrate on early stage. Casting thickness should not exceed 3 cm each time. Water curing immediately when concrete goes hardening and the curing time should not less than 3 days.
  3. When prepare expanding cement, Calcium Aluminate clinker’s dosage is 73-76%, CaSO4·2H2O dosage is 24-27%. When prepare self-stressing cement, the mixing ratio of CaSO4·2H2O should be increased.

 

Calcium Aluminate Cement Notice:

  1. In order to avoid uncontrollable setting time, do not mix with Portland cement, lime etc of which separate out calcium hydroxide cementing material. Before use, clean all the mixing machinery.
  2. Steam curing to accelerate concrete’s hardening. The curing temperature should not higher than 50℃.
  3. Refractory concrete’s late strength decline big, design should according to the lowest stable strength. CA-50 bonded concrete’s lowest stable strength should be determined by the lowest strength of 7-14 days of demoulding sample curing in 20℃±1℃ water.
