How To Use Quick-drying Silicone Sealant

 

1.Use: A single group of silicone glass glue can be used immediately. It is easy to type it from the bottle with a glue gun, and a spatula or wood chip can be used to trim the surface.

 

2.Silicone glue drying time   : the curing process of silicone rubber is developed from the surface to the inside. The drying time and curing time of different characteristics of silica gel are different. So if you want to fix the surface you have to do it before the glass gel sheet is dry (acid glue, neutral and transparent glue should be in 5-10 minutes, neutral color glue should be in 30 minutes generally). If the color paper is used to cover a certain place, after coating, it must be removed before the skin is formed.

 

3.Curing time: the curing time of glass glue increases as the adhesive thickness increases. For example, the acid glass glue of 12mm thickness may take 3-4 days to solidify. But within about 24 hours, the outer layer of 3mm has been solidified. When glued to glass, metal or most wood, it has an anti-stripping strength of 20 pounds per inch at room temperature after 72 hours. If the use of glass glue is partially or completely sealed, the solidification time is determined by the closeness of the seal. In a place of absolute closeness, it is possible to remain uncured forever. If the temperature is raised, the glass will soften. The gap between metal and metal bonding should not exceed 25mm. In all kinds of bonding situations, including airtight conditions, the adhesion effect should be thoroughly checked before the equipment is used. In the curing process, acid glass glue will produce a smell due to the volatilization of acetic acid, which will disappear in the curing process. There will be no smell after curing.

 

4.Adhesion: A. Wipe the surface of the metal and plastic completely, remove the oil, and then wash the whole surface with acetone except for the plastic. If it is rubber surface, apply sandpaper and rub it with acetone. Please observe the precautions when using acetone. B. Apply the glass glue evenly on the surface of the prepared object. If the two surfaces are glued together, place one side properly first and press the other side to squeeze out the air, but be careful not to extrude the glass. C. place the bonding device at room temperature and wait for the glass to solidify.

 

5.Seal: the fast drying silicone glue    also can be used for sealing purposes according to the above steps. Squeeze the glass glue into the joint or the seam so that the glass glue is in full contact with the surface.

 

6.Cleaning: before curing, the quick dry waterproof sealant can be erased with a cloth or paper towel. After curing, it should be cleaned with a scraper or xylene, acetone and other solvents.

Cyclohexanone is an important chemical raw material, being the major intermediates of making nylon, caprolactam and adipic acid. It is also an important industrial solvent, for example, for paints, especially for those containing nitrocellulose, vinyl chloride polymers, and their copolymers or methacrylate polymer paints. Used as an excellent solvent for pesticides such as organophosphate insecticide. It is used as a solvent for dyes, viscous solvents for piston aviation lubricants, solvents for greases, waxes, and rubbers. Also used as the leveling agent for dyeing and fading silk; degreasing agents for polishing metal; wood coloring paint; also used for cyclohexanone stripping, decontamination, and spot removal. Cyclohexanone and cyanoacetic acid can have condensation reaction to generate cyclohexylidene acetic acid, and then followed by elimination and decarboxylation to get cyclohexene acetonitrile, and finally giving cyclohexene ethylamine by hydrogenation [3399-73-3]. Cyclohexene ethylamine is an intermediate for some drugs.

 

The solvents for fibers, resins, rubbers, paraffin, shellac, and DDT; for organic synthesis; it can dissolve many of the complexes formed by the elements and organic reagents; bismuth determination; extract rare metal such as uranium, thorium, cobalt, and titanium.

Cyclohexanone solvent is an organic compound and a colorless, transparent liquid with an odor of mud. It will have a minty smell containing phenol. At present, pvc membrane welding machine has been widely promoted in a number of plastic welding industry. Various welding defects are inevitable in the process of use. In this article, it mainly analyzes how to solve the problems in debugging or welding.

 

1.Crush and bruise

Pressing injury and abrasion are common problems in the process of pvc membrane machine. Sometimes it's not so serious, and it just gets white or marks. When you encounter such problems, the first thing to do is to ensure that the location of the tooling is not out of alignment. First let off the air of the cylinder, press down the welding head, and carefully observe whether the welding head position of the scratch is correct. If the welding head is in the correct position, or if the abrasion or compression occurs on the support (or lower cover), then it is necessary to observe whether there is any interference between the tooling and the product. If it is old tooling, it is suggested to clean the tooling with alcohol at this time. If it is a new fixture, lightly rub the scratch (especially at the bottom of the step) with sandpaper to prevent burrs. In addition, observe whether the air pressure of the cylinder is too large during welding, whether the film of the pad has not been changed for a long time during welding, or whether there are foreign bodies stuck on the film.

 

If the above work is done, the pressing injury still exists, it can be basically judged as the interference of tooling. At this time, the mold shall be modified according to the size and location of the pressing injury:

(1)slight pressing injury. File the sharp Angle of the tool at the corresponding place of the tool, blunt the sharp Angle of the tool, and then use sandpaper polishing;

 

(2)the pressing injury is serious, but there is no welding rib at the corresponding place. Rub off the interference part of the fixture with an air abrasive rod (be careful not to touch other parts, especially the root part of the air abrasive rod, which may be rubbed off other places without being noticed). After grinding, make it smooth with whetstone and buff with sandpaper;

 

(3)severe crush injury. If there is welding rib in the corresponding place, or if there is serious pressing injury and the interference part is very large, please consult with the designer. Have the processing center dealing with the modified drawing and contact the relevant personnel to confirm whether there is a problem with the injection molding, or whether to improve the product structure.

 

2.Material overflow

If there is any overflow in the welding process of pvc membrane welding machine, do not debug or modify the welding parameters right away. First measure the size after welding, and compare it with the normal value. Adjust according to the difference.

 

3.Insufficient welding strength

If it is old tooling, first stick the product on the welding head, observe whether the gap between the product and the welding head is too large in the weak welding place, to determine whether the welding head is worn; if it is a new tool, please scan it with the welding head, observe its frequency, power and curve, and make sure there is no problem with the welding head.
