Redemption
What is this word redemption? And what does it stand for? We will take a look at it to see how it affects all of our lives. The Webster's Dictionary states that Redemption is 1. an act of redeeming or the state of being redeemed. 2. deliverance; rescue. 3. Theology . deliverance from sin; salvation. 4. atonement for guilt.

So that lets us know that we are forgiven of our sins. Well the question I want to ask is this? Do we in society forgive those that have done things that we consider to be wrong whether it effects us or not? The only person that can answer that question is you.

Can a person be redeem that is the question? Some might say yes they can through counseling or some other form of treatment. The people that I am going to talk about have done somethings that are to be considered wrong in GODS eye sight as well as man.s eye sights.

The first person I want to talk about is Stan "Tookie" Williams. Mr. Williams was one of the co-founders of a gang called the "CRIPS" they became one of the largest gangs in America. Mr. Williams was convicted of murder. We are not here to judge Mr. Williams one way or the other, but what we are looking at is the fact that while on death row he wanted to effectively make a change in young people lives. Mr. Williams wrote books for children in a effort to keep them from making the same mistakes that he did. Mr. Williams also was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, and he was the only person ever to be nominated on death row. They also made a movie about Mr. Williams and it is entitled "Redemption". Did Mr. Williams redeem himself? Only GOD can answer that question.

Below you will see pictures of Mr. Williams and a clip from the movie.

The next person that we want to talk about is Mr. Greg Yance. Mr. Yance was a dope dealer that got caught selling drugs in Chicago. Mr. Yance was convicted and sentence of this crime. We are not judging Mr. Yance one way or the other. By this being Mr. Yance first time in jail they gave him and option of attending a boot camp for first time offenders. Mr. Yance while in the boot camp was trying to redeem himself when the boot camp had to go to a small town and help the people of this town that were putting sand bags on the river banks trying to keep the river from over flowing into their town.

Mr. Yance went onto finish the program and when he had been released he was working hard to try and find a job, but no one would hire him. His friends were trying to talk Mr. Yance into selling drugs again but he refused. He also witness the murder of his best friend right in front of him. After several months of trying to find a job, he finally found one and has been there ever since. They also made a movie about him and it is entitled, "First Time Felon", you can view the clip that is below. Did Mr. Yance redeem himself? Only GOD can answer that question.

The final person that we want to talk about is Paul the Apostle in the bible. Saul which was his first name breathed "threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord" (Acts 9:1). Saul's hostility toward the Christians was because of his commitment to protecting God's honor. Later, he wrote how he "was violently persecuting the church of God" because of the zeal he had for his religion (Gal. 1:13-14).

Then something amazing happened. Saul headed for the city of Damascus, looking for Christians, intending to bring them back to Jerusalem to be tried for blasphemy, perhaps hoping they would all meet the same fate as Stephen. On the road, Saul was blinded by a flashing light and then came face to face with Jesus. "He asked, 'Who are you, Lord?' The reply came. 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting' " (Acts 9:3-9).

Saul was undone, rendered speechless and blind for several days. He recovered, but was never the same again. On the Damascus road and after Saul had his life turned completely around, symbolized by his new identity, Paul the apostle. His old world came apart.

However, because Paul did sincerely want to do God's will, he was able to receive God's direct revelation to him. He came to follow his new understanding of God's will with full commitment. That Paul had hated Jesus, also Paul came to believe, was in fact the fullest revelation of his God. Jesus was not a blasphemer, but instead was the model for genuine faithfulness to the God of Israel.

This revolution in Paul's worldview led to his transformation away from a zealous and violent persecutor of people he considered to be heretics. He became a man of peace. He remained intensely committed to serve God, but realized that the service God desires is to unconditionally love others, not to seek to do them harm when they offend his belief system.

So the question I ask is this? Can a person be redeemed? And the answer to that is yes. If they truly repent of their sins. In GOD eyes their is just sin, he has no distinction on whether it small or big it is just sin.

Prison Stats
According to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) 7,225,800 people at yearend 2009 were on probationparole — about 3.1% of adults in the U.S. resident population. 2,292,133 were incarcerated in U.S. prisons and jails at yearend 2009.

Love
We say that we love Jesus. I want to ask a question? In the six months how many people outside of your normal social circle have you talk to about Jesus. It is easy to talk to those that we feel comfortable with. In Mathew 28: 16-20 it says, 16. Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying , All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo , I am with you alway  , even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This is our charge to be witnesses unto him and we are suppose to do this out of love for Jesus. Well their is a way that you can witness to those that are lock up in prison by sending them a book to read. I have a list of the prisoners with their information. You can go to secure site link at the bottom of page and you will be able to tell us were you want book sent.

Take me deeper

Take me deeper into Your chambers

Where I may find You,

Where I may find You

in all your glory and splendor.

Your arms are stretched out wide,

waiting to be embraced by mine.

Your eyes are twinkling with joy.

I have made the better choice,

to abandon my distractions

to sup with you.

In Spirit and in truth,

Take me deeper,

Take me deeper into your heart,

to where you are.

To the movement of your Holy, Holy, Holy Spirit

where rivers of living water flow

from your throne of grace,

where your healing touch is a regular occurrence.

In the secret place,

in the quiet place with You.

Where I may know you more,

I open up the door of my heart.

You are welcome here.

My soul thirsts for you.

My hunger is only satisfied by You, Jesus.

So mysterious, so marvelous,

So wonderful, so beautiful!

You are the object of my affections.

I am a tender reed, growing toward the Son.

Your light, miraculous light, is warming me.

It’s your love.

You are drawing me and I am bending gently

to the winds of Your Spirit,

Changing my direction,

leading me to you.

A display of your splendor,

Robed in your righteousness,

Clothed in Your holiness,

sanctified by faith and grace.

I am a lily in your garden,

Beautiful and yours,

Cared for and esteemed valuable,

redeemed for Your Praise, for Your pleasure.

Deeper,

Take me deeper into the sea of your glorious love.

Where I forget my past,

Where my wounds are washed clean,

My sins are forgotten.

Your waves of love overtake me

until You are all I see…

nothing else.

Peace overwhelms me,

the music of your Spirit communing with mine.

Swimming into a sparkling abyss

where You are my every breath.

Deeper in Your Spirit,

Deeper in Your Spirit,

Holy, Holy, Holy Spirit.

"You Aint Herd?"

Hello. My name is Darryl Barr. I am a minister and recording artist with Above Only Entertainment Group. Above Only Entertainment Group is a record label that produces music which intentionally conveys the saving grace of Jesus the Christ. We are a label that promotes a holy lifestyle through music and our own daily activities. We are currently partnering with like-minded entities; Christ Music and I.M Music to produce the “You Ain’t Herd?” compilation album.
The “You Ain’t Herd?” album is being made specifically with the unsaved in mind, in an attempt to reach out to them. Our target listeners will be those who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who may have some knowledge of Jesus and those who may have known him personally at one point but fell away from his love and back into the delusional trap of Satan.
The album is intended to be given out for free. No minister/recording artist will profit from this project. The project will roughly cost about five hundred dollars to produce; which will include the recording, mixing and mastering of the music as well as the multimedia duplication. What we are seeking from you is any contribution that you may be able to give. We believe by sowing into this project you will be directly sowing into the building of the kingdom of God.
Each ministry involved in this project is an experienced, credible, and reliable company and has produced projects in the past. You can visit Above Only Entertainment Group at: www.aboveonlentertainment.net.  Christ Musiq at: www.christmusic.com and I.M Music at: reverbnation.com/4theIAM  . If you wish to speak with us personally and would like to learn more about us and our project please contact me at: awordoflife215@gmail.com or 202- 696-9088.
If you feel lead to donate, please do so at indigogo.com/You-Aint-Herd?. And if you don't have the ability o donate and would still like to help with the completion of our goal. Please feel free to past this information along with the link so someone may see it and possibly be lead to do so. Thank you and may God increase your seed abundantly.

Sincerly,

Darryl Barr

the way it should be

I have been involved in the christian music ministry/indristry for over 25 years. i started out lugging sould systums, building stages, hanging lights, selling merch for the bands volunteering for promoters who where putting on cancerts in the area. From there i started working more closely with event promoters learning the ins and outs of putting on a great concert event.

then i moved to Tulsa Oklahoma to attend Rhena Bible Training Center (Kenneth hagin Ministries/Rhema Bible Church). I ment a guy who was putting on all the A-list shows in northeast Oklahoma. he had a venue that was nothing more then a warehouse, but that was all he needed. He brought in the bands and the people came by the thousands. i was his right hand man for about 2 years. Then i started taking my own shows, bidding on then. It was hard because i could not get the booking agents in nashville to take me seriously, but i kept calling then day after day until they handed me a punk rock show that nobody else wanted, i took it. My event drew over 700 marks when the rest of the tour stops where only bringing in about 200 people. the agency took notice of that and offered me a bigger show. I took that and sold it out. Then i got a call from the band Switchfoots management wanting to know if i would take the show in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. I was excited and said yes before i knew what it was going to cost. I was scared because of the money commitment but i went on ahead and promoted it big time. i filled up half of the local high school's football stadium (about 5,000 people) this was in 1998.

Then i got the calls for the A-list shows, you know the ones that come with 2 or 3 motorcoaches and a tractor trailer full of gear. We have worked with just about every major christian artist that has been on the sceene since 1998

My last major show that i put on was in Miami Florida with Rebecca St james. it was awsome a sell out about 8,000 people. At that time i was having the gospel presented at all my concert events and seeing a harvest. That night 304 people gave there heart to the Lord Jesus Christ for the first time, i know because i was in the side room praying with them leading then to the Lord. it was awsome.

then September 11th happend and as some of you know that where promoting at that time after 9-11, it was very dificult times for the concert promoters. people where scared to meet in large numbers and if you had a evert at that time i am sure you can remember the stress of having a half filled venue and a big bill to pay at the end of the night.

What i did was in 2003 i stepped away from it all, took a break so-to-speak. raised my kids, concentrated on my day job, and just took it easy.

Over the past few months the Lord has been "nugging me" to get back involved. i am sort of "looking around now" being led by the Holy Ghost into what he has planned.

I'll tell you whats in my heart to do. I want to put on concert events, but i want to mix it with a crusade type event. i want to bands to be the hook to bring in the fish and then we preach the gospel to then, but not just that, we welcome in the presence of the Lord with praise and worship and invite His spirit in to minister with sighs and wonders like only he can do.

i have been involved with all the "stars" been on stage with the thousands looking at me, did the whole "big head look at me, i'm the guy who brings in the stars" i am done with all that. I want to see people get born again, filled with the Holy Ghost and go on the live a great life for the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to spread the gospel, preach the gospel, lay hands on people and see God move, thats what i am into now.

I wish that everyone who has a calling and tallent to bring people together would all get together and do sometthing so huge it would stop the sinners in there tracks and get the attention of the whole world, we could do it you know, if we all pulled our resourses, laied aside our pride, we could do something so awsome, because we know how to do it!! God has giving us that anoiting to do events, very few people can do that

Well i have shared a little about myself and my vision, i would love to meet and talk to anyone who shares my vision

According to O'Guin, Allen and Semenik in their book Advertising and Intergrated Brand Promotion, the new world of advertising is full of companies who are looking for new ways to get their brand across to audience and potential consumers. In this seemingly ad cluttered environment, small businesses are caught in the struggle between big corporation on how to make their brand visible and recognizable, send out culturally relevant messages in a refreshing way and become top-on-the-minds of audience and potential customers. How can new small businesses favorably compete considering the criteria listed above. Let us examine one of ResQ Records brand: The Omogo Reloaded Logo. The Omogo Reloaded logo is good because it is simple, representative and fresh.

Photobucket

Omogo Reloaded brand, Yahoo, Disney and Taco Bell brand all have something in common: Simplicity. When encountered, they are supposed to evoke some sort of feelings in the minds of audience. In comparison, the 4 brands have visual simplicity. These brands employ texts and sometimes an image (as seen in TACO BELL). In the music industry, ResQ Records is a new player with a relatively new genre of music called Afrofusion. The logo just spells the brand out in bold uncomplicated type-face, the smaller font well spaced to hold the weight of the larger ones on top. There are just two colors: Green and black plus the neutral white. The task is to clearly communicate the essence of the music to potential audience and customers and keeping the new logo simple will make recall and association easy for music enthusiasts, potential industry business partners and customers. Simplicity is synonymous to recall and easy recognizability and the Omogo Reloaded brand has that quality.

Photobucket

As Disney appeals to the fun-loving population and Yahoo to the instant messaging internet users, the Omogo Reloaded logo is packed with cultural appeal. The text is set in white background with green on either side. Green-White-Green is the flag of Nigeria, where Afrofusion originates evolving from Afrobeat. According to WorldFlags101.com, " The green stripes represent Nigeria's agriculture industry and its lush vegetation and the white stripe represents the desire for peace and unity within the country". In relation to Afrofusion blend of music, the green and white mean flourishing in harmony. Brand logos do not just represent names, they carry meanings. Here in North America, almost everyone is familiar with the recycle symbol. It is also used as part of the brand.  Representation is what makes the Omogo Reloaded logo better. It is packed with meaning of cultural relevance that an African, American and global audience can relate to.

Photobucket

Notice that the "G" in Omogo has been slightly and intentionally rotated to imitate recycle symbol and the refresh button. This symbol is common on the internet and eye-catching. It represents giving vitality to something that may be worn out. Refreshing, starting afresh and new are the intended messages. At the same time, the rotated "G" also represent ResQ Records consciousness of the diminishing state of the world's resources and our support for the green revolution like encouraging dowloads and reading electronic copies instead of print-outs. The world craves new and refreshing ideas and the Omogo Reloaded brand represents just that. The word, "Reloaded" is implied in the rotated "G" and along the line of brand evolution, all other elements on the logo will be dropped. Like the NIKE swoosh, the slightly tilted G with a arrow head will come to identify Afrofusion music by Omogo Reloaded, percieve as something new/fresh and infigurating.

Photobucket

It's lunch time and you're driving on  highway 33, when you spot a fast food restuarant sign. Almost immediately, you're  feeling hungrier. Result and that's what  an advertisers in that industry desire.

Photobucket

For the Omogo Reloaded brand, the composition is created to stimulate ones imagination by arousing one's curiousity. A look at top ranking national and international brands will reveal their simplicity, their struggle to be very represnetative and relavant in meaning transmission to audience and strive to stay fresh. The Omogo Reloaded brand possesses the above-mentioned qualities, making it very easy to recall. Upon immediate recognition and recollection, certain subtle cultural messages are conjured and a sense of affiliation with the brand is established. It is easy  to support a brand that customers have a connection with. This connection is importnat to the survival of a brand.
