What is PEEK?

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a colorless organic thermoplastic polymer in the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family, used in engineering applications.

PEEK is a thermoplastic semicrystalline with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures. PEEK has a glass transition temperature of around 143 °C (289 °F) and melts around 343 °C (662 °F). That’s why PEEK seals and manifolds are commonly used in fluid applications. PEEK also performs well in applications where continuous high temperatures (up to 500 °F/260 °C) are common. The Weak Base Anion Exchange Resin with primary, secondary, tertiary amine or mixed amine group as active functional groups show different strengths of alkalinity. BMC/SMC plastic Moulding Description:

About BMC/SMC Moulding：

The basic process of the compression molding process is to place a certain amount of the pre-treated molding material into a preheating compression mold, and apply a higher pressure to fill the mold cavity with the molding material. Under the predetermined temperature conditions, the molding material is gradually solidified in the cavity, and then the SMC product is taken out from the stamper, and the necessary auxiliary processing is performed to obtain the final product.

The SMC molding process of the composite molded product is a process of solidifying into a product in a cavity after the binder is loaded or heated under the condition that the curing agent is present or heated. Molding temperature, molding pressure and mold exhaust, temperature balance, and mold structure all affect the quality of SMC products. It is necessary to determine the best solution under the consideration of various influencing factors.

BMC is the initial abbreviation of English Bulk Molding Compound, and the Chinese name is a group molding compound. Pre-mixed into a paste by unsaturated polyester resin, low shrinkage/low profile additive, initiator, internal mold release agent, mineral filler, etc., and then added thickener, colorant, etc., with different lengths of glass fiber, in special Stirring in the kettle is carried out to carry out a thickening process, which finally forms a dough-like intermediate material which can be used for molding and injection molding.

The bulk molding compound manufacturing process basically follows the same rules as the injection mold. Differently, the BMC mold is molded at a high temperature, and the plastic mold is molded at a normal temperature.

SMC BMC molds require heating rather than cooling systems. The temperature of the mold is usually between 130 and 160. It is very important to keep the temperature of the mold and the exhaust gas when designing the mold. The mold is easier to fill, the product is not easy to be deformed, and the surface is better. Commonly used heating systems are steam, oil and electric heating rods.

DEHUMIDIFICATION AND HUMIDIFICATION FOR VEHICLE MANUFACTURING

Vehicle / Automotive manufacturing have different process part. Proper humidity level will improve the productivity. Painting, as a key part of the process, requires a strict control of humidity. According to the practice, under 24℃, relative humidity more than 60%, the membrane of the automotive body turns to sag. When the RH reaches more than 85%, more problems will appear: efflorescence, cracks, low adhesion, coating flaking.

In summer, the RH is normally higher in domestic China. Some customers find the paint bubble contains liquid in their painting workshops. By using dehumidifier to have a constant humidity control, the problem is solved. We suggest the ideal climate under 25±1℃, RH 55±5% for vehicle manufacturing. At this level evaporation of the paint is reduced allowing it to reach the bodywork as the manufacturer intended. Oxymetholone, sold under the brand names Anadrol and Anapolon among others, is an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS) medication which is used primarily in the treatment of anemia. It is also used to treat osteoporosis, HIV/AIDS wasting syndrome, and to promote weight gain and muscle growth in certain situations. It is taken by mouth.

Side effects of oxymetholone include symptoms of masculinization like acne, increased hair growth, voice changes, and increased sexual desire. It can also cause liver damage. The drug is a synthetic androgen and anabolic steroid and hence is an agonist of the androgen receptor (AR), the biological target of androgens like testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It has strong anabolic effects and weak androgenic effects.

Oxymetholone was first described in 1959 and was introduced for medical use by 1961. It is used mostly in the United States. In addition to its medical use, oxymetholone is used to improve physique and performance. The drug is a controlled substance in many countries and so non-medical use is generally illicit.

Dosing for most inexperienced users of oxymethalone usually ranges between 50 to 150 milligrams per day. Experienced users have anecdotally used in excess of this, but side effects are more pronounced as the dosage increases. Oxymethalone does not directly convert to estrogen. There is also very little to no progestational-like effects associated with the compound1. Despite this, individuals using this compound will often report pronounced estrogen related side effects such as gynecomastia and water retention, among others. Based on this it would appear that oxymethalone acts upon the estrogen receptors in the body itself2. This theory seems to hold some weight as aromatase is not involved3, but estrogenic side effects are common during administration of the drug.

Androgenic side effects should also be expected3. Oily skin, acne, increased body and/or facial hair are all commonly reported. Also, if susceptible to male pattern baldness, the use of this compound may make the condition more pronounced. Hypertension is a common side effect of the compound as well, in part due to the extreme bloat associated with it.

In oxymethalone, virilization symptoms can occur in women who use it (as with any AAS), so women should be very cautious when using said compound.

Another somewhat unique characteristic of the compound is that it can have a detrimental effect on a user's glucose tolerance4. This reportedly can actually cause borderline diabetic situations. Obviously this should be considered by those that have been diagnosed with similar problems in the past as this compound can more that complicate it.

Finasteride, a reductase inhibitor, will not be effective in combating some of the androgenic side effects of oxymetholone. This is due to the fact that while oxymetholone does convert to dihydrotestosterone, this does not involve the 5 alpha reductase enzyme (2). Oxymetholone is a dihydrotestosterone based steroid. It differs only from dihydrotestosterone only due to the addition of a 2-hydroxymethylene group. This grouping can be removed metabolically which in turn would reduce the compound to 17 alpha-methyl dihydrotestosterone1. It is this biotransformation that can explain, at least partially, the strong androgenic effect that oxymetholone has.

Oxymetholone is a 17 alpha alkylated compound and includes the usual associated risks and stresses that those compounds place on the liver. It is because of the high doses of the drug that are required for effective use that oxymetholone can cause a higher than normal stress level on the liver. However, with moderate dosing and cycle lengths liver damage should not be an issue for most healthy individuals.
