Early Decision简称ED，它是一种与唯一所大学之间具有捆绑性的协议。一旦此大学录取您，您只能选择该学校并且拒绝其他所有学校。在学生申请ED的过程中，只能提交一所大学的ED，并且不能选择其他三种申请方式（EA/RD/RA）。
由于ED的唯一性和捆绑性，因此ED是在申请美本的四种方式中最需谨慎的一种方式。申请ED I时可选择比自我水平略微高一些，并且想冲刺的学校。如果标准化成绩都已到达理想学校的分数线，可以抓住申请ED I的机会，提交申请。提交ED I申请时，只能提交一所学校的申请。一旦被ED I录取后，学生只能选择此校，并不得做任何更改。

Description and Production procedure of Steel Pellet
Pellets are small balls of iron ore used in steel production. They are one of the important sources of iron in the manufacture of steel. Pellet production is the basis of the steel production process, and steel pellets are made from iron ore powder with additives such as limestone, dolomite, olivine and binder bentonite. The addition of these additives and adhesives, in addition to preventing a large amount of gas produced by the evaporation of water from tending to rupture during the initial stage of heating, can also increase the strength of the particles before heating. The mixture is then mixed together in a mixer and fed into a disk or drum to produce coarse particles, usually about 9-16mm. Heat treatment of coarse particles, including drying, preheating, roasting, post-firing and cooling, is performed to obtain high metallurgical resistance and appropriate properties. The original particles are first fed into the hardening machine. Both the direct grate and the grate-kiln dried the particles in the dry zone, then heated the particles to about 800-900°C in the preheating zone, and then hardened at temperatures of about 1200 to 1350°C. Usually, during hot rolling, the bloom is a semi-finished nearly square solid metal form between the ingot and the billet. The cross-section of the slab bloom is usually greater than 225 square centimeters and about 8 to 12 meters long. In the rolling mill, it is broken down into finished products such as bars, beams and sheet piles. In earlier mills, ingots were made from cast ingots (called "nodular iron"), but in modern mills they are made by continuous casting.
Production Procedure of Steel Bloom
The ingots, still hot sometimes, reach the tram plate mill and billet mill and are placed upright in a soaking pit under the floor by a special crane. Steel bloom are rectangular gas chambers about 5 meters deep, in which four to eight ingots are simultaneously heated to about 1,250°C (2,300°F). The soaking pit is highly computerized and can be used for scheduling, firing rate, heating time (lasting 8 to 18 hours) and rolling programs.
After heating, the conveyor carries the hot ingot to a two-high reversing mill, which passes, again and again, turning the roll and roll table over each time the ingot passes.
