Bob J. Nash, a former White House official in Bill Clinton's administration, hosted an awesome reception featuring special guest, Bill Clinton on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm in Mitchellville, Maryland.
Former President Bill Clinton had a lively discussion about his many accomplishments in his administration and its vast diversity. A very supportive crowd cheered as he mentioned his wife's accomplishments as a former first lady, senator and as top diplomat at the State Department. A Day of Healing, Restoration, and Transformation! The upcoming DIVA Project outreach event in October culminates the 11-year anniversary of the DIVA Project – healing, restoring, and transforming the lives of women victims of domestic violence – changing the world, one diva at a time.
Since 2004, the DIVA Project has partnered with local transitional facilities in Baltimore, Maryland mainly House of Ruth, Maryland life Crisis Centre to provide victims of domestic violence wellness services, workshops, and counseling centered on restoring beauty from the inside out. Over the years, participants have received hair and beauty services to uplift them on the outside and heard from guest speakers who shared information and resources to uplift participants on the inside. As with past outreach events, this final DIVA Project of 2015 will deliver services and resources for the mind, body, and spirit. The success of the last 10 years of serving Baltimore with this outreach has been made possible by the many business sponsors, community leaders, and local supporters of the DIVA Project, including beauty experts, motivational speakers, and a host of volunteers.
The upcoming outreach will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Union Mill, 1500 Union Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21211. Donations to support this outreach are welcomed, and local media is encouraged to cover this event. One is called I Will Survive and the second one is A Man Apart. Its not just about the albums its starting a community of artist who want and love to make good music and yes make good music for the Lord. Music is my passion and I love to put everything I have into it.
I Will Survive is about some of the struggles I went through and how I made it through. This album has moments when I was up and when I was down it gets pretty deep. But A Man Apartwill be some of the deepest and scariest things I ever wrote. I am opening up the book to my life showing all of my faults, failures,and flaws in regards to being a husband, a father, a man, and a Christian. Will their be an upside to the album I guess you will have to wait and see.
