TIM TEBOW FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP

Press Release: Jacksonville, FL (Wednesday, April 4, 2018) – The Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF) announced today that they have hired a new president to lead the organization. The non-profit, now in its eighth year of service to children all over the world, has welcomed Steve Biondo, formerly a senior-level executive at Family Christian Resource Centers, to take on oversight of the day-to-day operations of the foundation, which will continue headstrong in its mission to bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.

Since being founded in 2010 by professional athlete and sports analyst, Tim Tebow, TTF has established a reputation as an advocate for people with special needs and those in need through several main areas of ministry, most recently Night to Shine, their worldwide prom for people with special needs which began in 2015. This year’s Night to Shine event brought together 150,000 volunteers from 537 churches across the nation and in 16 countries to celebrate 90,000 honored guests on February 9, 2018, all of whom were crowned King or Queen of the prom. The foundation has also provided more than 2,000 life-changing surgical procedures to children of the Philippines who could not otherwise afford care at the Tebow CURE Hospital, built nine Timmy’s Playrooms in children’s hospitals around the world, fulfilled the dreams of more than 75 children with life-threatening illnesses through the W15H program and created hundreds of Brighter Days, supported life’s essentials for orphans in four countries and provided 76 Adoption Aid grants to families making the courageous choice to adopt a child with special needs internationally, 69 of whom are already home with their forever families.

“We are excited for Steve to be joining the team and look forward to seeing how God is going to use him to love and serve children all over the world. I know there are huge things in store in this new season at TTF under Steve’s leadership and direction,” shared Tim Tebow, founder and chairman of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “The board and I were prayerful and diligent in making sure we selected the absolute best candidate for the role, Steve is someone who already has a heart for the work that we do.”

Biondo’s experience most recently includes the start-up and growth of a non-profit ministry which impacted 14 million orphans, widows and oppressed children over the past 10 years, Human Resources leadership of more than 4,200 employees in 37 states and strategic planning and organizational development.

“I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to lead this great organization and look forward to deepening and broadening the ways we fight for those who can’t fight for themselves,” shared Steve Biondo, TTF’s new president. “It is an honor to join Timmy and the rest of the team and to be able to be part of making an impact on the lives of children in need around the world. The Tim Tebow Foundation has big things ahead and I am excited to lead the organization into this next chapter.”

Biondo replaces Erik Dellenback, the foundation’s first executive director, following seven successful years leading TTF’s outreach efforts.

Having just experienced another hugely successful Night to Shine event all over the world on February 9, and having raised the most funds to-date at their annual marquee fundraising weekend in March, the foundation sits poised to continue its God-sized growth and continue serving thousands more children around the globe. Let The Healing Begin...In Me!

Let The Healing Begin... In ME!

Many people believe that HEALING is basically Health related! In broad terms that is correct. Also, metaphysical studies will show that there are several emotional and mental factors that contribute to actual SICKNESS! In other words if you continue to harbor things like hurt and bitterness, they too can eventually manifest into actual sickness and disease in your body! But I'd like to submit to you that HEALING is also Financial, Mental, & Relational as well! We need Healing in EVERY aspect of our lives! Again, your thought life is very critical to your overall health! I would admonish you to start doing research on the metaphysical and what it means to your general well being! People perish for the lack of knowledge.... STUDY... LEARN.... GROW!

Any time there is a change of the scene in a movie, the corresponding MUSIC changes as well. The state of our World and specifically our Nation is one of divisiveness and disorder! While we pray that God helps us CHANGE the climate of our land, WE must first BE the Change that we seek.  Begin to speak, Let the HEALING begin IN ME! As the scene changes, our sound will change, our mood will change, and our consciousness will change! So, in a World full of Uncertainty, Lawlessness, Disease, & Poverty, It's GOOD to know that YOU don't have to LIVE in Fear of it all! You can be FREE from ANY & EVERY thing that comes to Hinder you!

So as you listen, DECLARE THIS, I AM HEALED!!!

SPEAK THIS: Let the Healing Begin IN ME!!!

Robert "Goodie" Whitfield

Most of the fans of soul and funk music know Robert Whitfield more as "Goodie". He used the name "Goodie" when collaborated with the famous funk group called Gap Band. He was born and raised in Dallas,Tx. He developed a love for music at an early age and became interested in the saxophone, flute, piano and guitar. He studied music composition, theory and saxophone from Jr. High through his college years. His earliest influences were gospel, jazz, 70’s R&B and funk. Although Jazz was Goodie’s true beginnings where he developed a keen sense of artistry, stage presence and entertaining, today he is known for his talents as a vocalist, keyboardist, songwriter and producer.

The Journal of Gospel Music presents its Best of 2017 list in the categories of CDs, songs, and historical releases.

The recordings were not chosen based on sales, chart status, promotion, voting, fan popularity, number of likes or retweets, committee decisions, throwing darts, reading tea leaves, arm twisting, or anything other than JGM: 1) was serviced with the music for review and 2) believes they best represent gospel/Christian/sacred music in 2017 in terms of overall quality of music, message, and presentation.

Artists whose music does not appear here: do not despair. These lists were compiled from many hundreds of releases that came across the JGM desk during 2017. I love you all, but I had to narrow down the lists to a select few.

Best CD:
Stay Connected – Choirs of Trinity United Church of Christ (Unashamed Media Group)

The Rest of the Best (in alpha order):
A Long Way From Sunday – Anthony Brown & group therAPy (Tyscot Records)
Bigger Than Me – Le’Andria Johnson (RCA Inspiration)
By Faith – Patrick Lundy & the Ministers of Music (New Day Distribution)
Every Mile Mattered – Nichole Nordeman (Sparrow / Capitol CMG Group)
The Glory Experience – Preashea Hilliard (Daywind Records)
I Got You – Ruth La’Ontra (Tyscot Records)
Live at the Adrienne Arsht Center – Miami Mass Choir (Independent Release)
Out of the Dust – Out of the Dust (Discovery House Music)
WOW Gospel 2017 – Various Artists (RCA Inspiration)

“Your Will”
Bill Moss Jr. feat. J Moss
Salathiel Records (release date: July 21, 2017)
www.billmossmusic.com

By Bob Marovich

Although they debuted on the gospel scene as the Moss Brothers, Bill and James “J” Moss have since pursued separate solo careers. They come together again on “Your Will,” an understated, piano-introduced, and jazzy rumination on the personal benefits of living a Godly life.

On the single, from Bill Jr.’s project, Live with Third New Hope: Songbook of Praise & Worship, the brothers notch the gospel heat up with every newly sung verse. The song oozes class and sophistication as the brothers deliver their message with unexpected chord changes, studied melismatic lines, passionate falsetto, and deft support from the background vocalists.

The track was recorded live on December 20, 2015, at Detroit’s Third New Hope Baptist Church and hints at a Moss Brothers reunion in the making.

Sin Changes You :

Sin Changes You :Many people know they are doing wrong, but they do not charge their ways. They believe they can change whenever they choose. They think they can turn from God again and again and still hear His call of mercy. They follow Satan, but they plan to turn quickly to God if something terrible happens to them. But this is not easy to do. Sin changes a person's desires and habits. After sin has molded the character, few people want to be like Jesus. Even one wrong thing in the character or one sinful desire that we will not give up will finally stop the gospel's power from changing us. Every time we give in to Satan, we turn more from God.

Jn 12.26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

Are we following Him, are we serving Him? or are we following our own leadings and serving ourselves and dressing it up as Christian.

How do we define success in church planting/leading?

I have a problem with the church.

There are many within it that do not follow the teaching of Jesus, many of them are leaders.

Many are pandering to worldly ideas of success –

  • must have a big church

  • must have good programs that help the community

  • must have seeker friendly services so as not to offend

  • must be acceptable in the community, seen as a good citizen.

No problem if these happen, but if these are our goal  we've totally missed the point.

What did Jesus teach?

Love God

Love your fellow man

Follow me, obey my commandments

Preach the kingdom of God,

Demonstrate the kingdom, heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead

Go and make disciples in all nations, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you

Baptise them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

I can’t recall Jesus saying much else about:-

buildings, services, programs, social action initiatives, being ‘nice’

Jn 15.13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends

Jesus led by example.

Why do moves of God rise and fall.

Not God ‘s plan for them to fall

Although plenty of scripture to show that they do – history of Israel.

Consider Joshua 1: 8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate in it day and night , that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success." - nothing about room for failure.

Deuteronomy has a thread of Obedience running through it,

coupled with chapter 28 is the intention of blessings: success, growth, leadership;

and for disobedience, curses.

The Old testament has a history of Israel's ups and downs from which we should learn.

Moves of God in last 400 years

The effects of some have been far reaching,

much of the original LIFE of the moves has not been carried though into the next generations,

move peeters out or

gets into a rut of religious ritualism,

or a socially nice group with ideals and routines.

Think of some of our great international denominations that were birthed in revival by men of God with passion.

Charles Wesley

William Booth

John Knox

Martin Luther

John Calvin

Attempted solution

Some folk try to pump up the move. but it runs out and so on.

They try and keep the same move going but miss the LIFE of Christ.

A move may run out of life, but life will always be on the move. (Ross Knight)

God’s answer

2 Tim 2.2 New Living Translation (©2007)
You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses.
Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

2nd and successive generations of a move there has been a tendency:-

  • to rest on their laurels or

  • become maintenance oriented rather than be Presence of God oriented and to move in His project or objectives.

  • Some are happy to perpetuate things rather than progress beyond the status quo.

Even truth can become tradition without life.

You can exercise faith in Truth all the time,

But tradition doesn't need faith and can be just a thing to do,

Tradition without faith has no life of God in it.

I have often received emails and messages on this network from pastors all over the world inviting me to visit their countries and preach at their churches and events without giving much detail.

They expect me to jump on a plane because they have written to me (which may take 10 minutes to write) and I have to spend thousands of dollars, (to travel to Africa in many cases will cost me about $3,000US for economy flights) disrupting my normal schedule and away from my family, church and income, (I am not paid by a church - I earn my own income) just to do what he has requested.

This invite is then watered down in my mind when I notice that I am one of a large number of people the invite was sent to and I am one of the many CC people on the list. This pastor is taking the approach, 'ask as many as you can, maybe someone will come.'
This does not incline me to even want to reply.

I have found that God does not usually work this way.
God has a divine purpose and He is specific and detailed. I know because I have experienced the goodness and mercies of God when He specifically told me where to go. I find often that such a person has no means or intention of covering my costs and is expecting me in many cases to help cover his costs.
Brothers, because someone lives in a so called, "western. or 'rich' country": do not suppose that they are able or inclined to pay your costs, or even their own. It may be that they can and are willing to (2 different issues) but this matter should be clearly discussed in the invitation along with some other important issues

Therefore I thought it prudent to lay out some suggestions for offering invitations which will help all parties inviolved avoid uncomfortable situations and embarrasment.

If you are inviting preachers to visit your church and country, please be more specific or you may not get an answer to your request or receive a decline.

The following should be covered.

Pupose
Be clear with the type of meeting, dates and what you are specifically asking them to do. You can always ask for their feedback and suggestions as well

Example
1) We are inviting you to be one of our speakers for our 5-day Revival Meeting from 1-5 Sept.
2) There will be 2 meetings a day and you will be one of 3 guest speakers and we would hope that youi would be able to bring 3 messages along the topic of a revived heart. We will let you know your schedule once you have accepted. We will also arrange for you to speak at our Sunday service on Sept 6 and at another church in the area on that Sunday evening

Financial arrangements:
Explain clearly what you can afford to cover in their costs and if you will remunerate them with a set amount, a love offering or some other form of gratuity.

Example
1) We will pay for your economy class airfare and pick you up at the airport. If you want to bring your wife and any of your church leaders, currently we cannot afford.to do this, they are welcome but would need to make their own arrangements.
2) We will pay for the 3-star hotel accommodation. However if you were to bring your members, we will take care of up to a maximum of 3 rooms. Alternatively we have a church member who has offered accomodation for you (and wife if accompanying) should you prefer this.
3) A love offering will be given to you at the end of the meeting.

Some info on your church and the meeting:
Give a very brief outline of your church history, current attendance, where the meeting is to be held and any other special details, such as combined with other churches etc.

Example
1) Our church is now 7 years old, this is our annual conference which began 3 years ago and we invite the congregations of our 2 sister churches in the area to participate.
2)Currently our church Sunday attendance is around 300 people. For this conference we expect the number will be around 600 people.
3) The meetings will be held in the public town hall which accomodates about 1000 people

I am not suggesting that the examples above are the details you have to make in your invitation just the way to make the invitation. You may not be able to cover air fares or hotels, the point is just be clear about this.
Even with such info, the invited guest will have to pray and seek God if it is His will for them to attend. Keep in mind that many ministers have their travel schedule booked up to a year in advance.
Give plenty of notice.

If you are organizing such an event, you should pray and seek God if it is God’s plan for you to have such a meeting and seek his direction for your guest speakers.
This will often come from those with whom you have established some kind of relationship.
When you write to request (a phone call is often the best way to start this and follow it with a formal written invitation) always address the message to the person by name.
Using terms like "Dear Servant of God" suggests that you have sent the same message to many and weakens the strength of your invitation.

I hope this helps you to be clearer in your communication regarding invitations to your church and/or event and avoid embarrasment for you and your guest.

If you've been experiencing system or application crashes in Windows, it's possible system files have become corrupt or that other system damage has occurred. Here's what you can do about it.

If Windows is experiencing blue-screen or other crashes, applications are failing, or some Windows features just aren't working properly, there are two system tools that might be able to help. The System File Checker (SFC) tool built into Windows will scan your Windows system files for corruption or any other changes. If a file has been modified, it will automatically replace that file with the correct version. If the SFC command doesn't work, you can also try the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) command on Windows 10 or Windows 8 to repair the underlying Windows system image. On Windows 7 and earlier, Microsoft offers a downloadable "System Update Readiness Tool" instead. Let's take a look at how to use them.

Run the SFC Command to Repair System Files

Run the SFC command when troubleshooting a buggy Windows system. SFC works by scanning for and replacing system files that are corrupt, missing, or changed. Even if the SFC command doesn't repair any files, running it will at least confirm that no system files are corrupted and then you can continue to troubleshoot your system with other methods. You can use the SFC command as long as the computer itself will start. If Windows will start normally, you can run it from an administrative command prompt. If Windows won't start normally, you can try starting it in Safe Mode or in the recovery environment by booting from your installation media or recovery disc.

However you get to the Command Prompt-normally, Safe Mode, or recovery environment-you'll use the command the same way. Just remember that if you start Windows normally, you will need to open the Command Prompt with administrative privileges. To do this, right-click the Start button and select "Command Prompt (Admin)".

If you're not sure which device driver or update Windows just installed that might be causing you problems, you can view the list of installed updates. You'll see a list of updates and the dates they were installed here. If you want to work with a file in Windows, you'll have to save the file from your Windows file system with the save option. If need some help you can check softkeyhome.co.uk to find windows product key online with the lowest price.

At the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter to run a full system scan and have SFC attempt repairs:

sfc /scannow

Leave the Command Prompt window open until the command completes, which may take some time. If everything is fine, you'll see the message "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

If you see a "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" message, try restarting your PC in Safe Mode and running the command again. And if that fails, you can also try booting with your installation media or recovery disc and trying the command from there.

If you aren't a fan of scrolling your pointer over to the lower right corner of your monitor to show the desktop, we have a cool tweak that will allow you to add the Show Desktop icon to the Quick Launch bar or anywhere on your Taskbar.

If you want to easily get access to the Desktop in Windows 7, 8, or 10, you've undoubtedly noticed they moved the Show Desktop to the lower right corner of the screen. This can be annoying if you have a dual monitors, or even a large monitor.

There are a couple of ways you can make the Show Desktop icon more accessible. We'll take a look at each and you can choose which method works best for you. We show both methods in Windows 10, but they will also work in Windows 7 and 8.

How to Put the Show Desktop Icon Back to Where it Used to Be by Adding Back the Quick Launch Bar

The first method of moving the Show Desktop icon is to add back the Quick Launch bar to the Taskbar. The Quick Launch bar contains a Show Desktop option, so once you follow the steps in our article to bring back the Quick Launch bar, you should see the Show Desktop icon on the left side of the Taskbar. If you don't, the article also describes how to move icons on the Quick Launch bar.

This method will "kill two birds with one stone" by getting the Quick Launch bar and the Show Desktop icon back where they used to be in Windows.

How to Pin the Show Desktop Icon to the Taskbar

If you don't want the Quick Launch bar back, you could pin the icon to the Taskbar instead. Unfortunately, the process isn't as easy as a simple drag and drop, but there is an easy workaround.

To test this, you'll have to get your computer's software fixed for your windows 10. If you're lucky, one of these steps may fix your software problem and allow you to boot Windows normally. If you can not find the previous activation code, you can click softkeyhome.co.uk to buy genuine windows product key with the lowest price.

Right-click on any empty area of the desktop and go to New > Text Document.

Rename the shortcut to Show Desktop.exe.

NOTE: You will need to have file extensions showing in order for this to work.

The following warning dialog box displays because you are changing the extension on the shortcut. Click the "Yes" button to change the name and extension on the shortcut.

Right-click on the dummy .exe file you just made and select "Pin to taskbar" from the popup menu.

The Show Desktop icon on the far right side of the Taskbar is still available in Windows 7, 8, and 10, even after using one or both of these methods to "move" it.
