A functional graphic overlay (overlay pcb)is designed for use with rubber keypads, membrane switches or as a touch screen panel interface for control panels. In these applications, the control panel overlay printing graphics and text are used to providing operational instructions or safety warnings and label buttons and controls.

However, with an aesthetic purpose, decorative switch overlay and panel overlays are printed with custom membrane keypad, company logos or product information. They act as an intermediary between the user and the machine through functional descriptions, without conductive traces or circuitry.

How to Design the Graphic Overlay?

Sample: Provide drawings of graphic overlay prototype that all dimensions and physical characteristics including colors or actual samples for copy are clearly shown.

Colors: Identify the colors which you want your switch overlays to have by Pantone (PMS) RAL color number or a color sample. It is important to supply the exact standard for which our color match will be evaluated.

Borders and Outlines: Avoid circles within circles, or outlines which are close to cutouts or outer edges because any misregistration will be visually accentuated.

File Format: It's best to receive design files from the native software packages. (ie Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or PDF files)

Background: Light text and dark backgrounds will show less wear and dirt and greater clarity. Try making the control panel overlay or the membrane overlay drawings clear.

Text: Block lettering provides the most legible copy. Try to use common fonts. Positive letter strokes should be a minimum of .008'' and .012''for negative letter stroke.

美国高中编程比赛

美国高中编程比赛中，最知名且在美国最具认可度的比赛为：美国计算机奥林匹克竞赛（USACO）。美国计算机奥林匹克竞赛是专门为中学生所推出的一项计算机编程比赛，同时也是最难、最具挑战性的个人美国高中编程比赛。未来目标是申请计算机科学（Computer Science）的同学，参与这项比赛绝对是一个向招生官证明自己编程能力的最佳机会。

奖项等级

这项美国高中编程比赛同时也是用于选拔美国参加全球信息奥林匹克竞赛( International Olympiad inInformatics, IOI) 的国家队。全球的参赛者都可以通过参加网上的三场竞赛，每场竞赛都有四个阶级，分别为铜级、银级、金级和铂金级四个等级：

铜级

刚开始USACO注册账号后即为默认判定为铜级，是最入门的层级，只考一些基本编程常识，参赛者只需要至少会一种编程语言即可，考试时间充裕，多数参赛者都能在第一次竞赛晋级银级。

银级

通过铜级的选手即可晋级银级，在这个阶段，参赛者需要具备基本的算法及问题处理的能力，还需了解基础数据结构。从这个阶级开始，参赛者须做好算法安排才能在时限内成功晋级。

金级

通过银级的选手即可晋级金级，在这个阶层要求参赛者有对算法及数据结构有更进阶的理解。

白金级

通过金级的选手即可晋级白金级，作为比赛的最后阶段，参赛者须要有很好的编程基础和逻辑思维能力。

三轮考试中间间隔一个月，每月考试开放的时间皆为四天，参赛者可在考试开放日期内开启为时四小时的线上考试。每次考试约有３～４道题，而在月竞赛结束后的两天选手们可以透过邮件收到自己的竞赛结果，表现达标的即可在下依次月赛晋级。

目前今年开放考试时间如下：

12/13-16: 第一轮考竞赛

01/17-20: 第二轮竞赛

02/21-24: 第三轮竞赛

03/27-30: 美国竞赛

With a melting point between a whopping 2,600°F and 2,800°F (1,427°C and 1,538°C), steel pipe can withstand the heat of burning buildings, it even can keep water flowing over a fire.

Where are we talking from today?

New Orleans, Louisiana.

Where did you get your artist's name from?

So, our artist's name was partially inspired by the experience of going through the songwriting mentorship process with our mentor, Loren Israel. We feel like the whole experience helped us delve deeper and be more honest and vulnerable in our songs and writing. Deeper into the “Blue” as it were. Blue is also a power color for both of us, so with some creative thinking, we came up with N2BLÜ.

Music-wise what are you working on right now?

We have actually finished our first album, titled “Phoenix Heart," which will be releasing this summer and we have already started our next album.

Are you currently promoting a single or album?

We are currently promoting our latest single, Kiss Me Like the Devil, which is available on every online music platform along with the lyric video on our YouTube channel. We will actually be releasing our next single, “Again”, and lyric video on April 21, 2020.

Who or what were the most significant influences on your musical life and career?

For me (Jonathan), my biggest influences growing up were Better Than Ezra, Duncan Sheik, and Savage Garden. For Kosta, his biggest influence growing up was DC Talk.

As a musician, what is your definition of success?

I’d say our definition of success is being able to do what we love (making music), being able to share it with the world, and helping other people through our music.
