After Chinese Spring Festival,  some refineries in Southern China raised the price of paraffin wax by about USD15/MT. Dalian, Fushun and Daqing refineries retained the prices. The production and stock are steady. The paraffin in chinese demand is not strong.

When The founder started to deal with paraffin wax back in the 1970s. In the year of the Olympic games in Beijing, King Honor was founded in Dalian, China in 2008. High melt point - melting point of paraffin wax in celsius is very suitable for making cylindrical candles, hand-dipped fine candles, moulded candles, moulded or carved gift candles. High melt wax is very hard and cannot retain its fragrance. Its melting point is 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 63 degrees Celsius. This kind of wax is needed to make all kinds of waxes mentioned above so that the candle will not sink itself when it is cooled. If this high melt wax is used to make candles, additives are needed.

Medium Melting Point - This kind of wax is usually used to make prayer candles and sometimes container candles. Its melting point is 127-145 degrees Fahrenheit or 53-63 degrees Celsius. This wax feels harder than low melting point wax, but it keeps its shape better. This wax has good fragrance retention, but additives are needed. This type of wax is massive and needs to be cut into small pieces to melt.

Low Melting Point - This type of wax melts at 127 degrees Fahrenheit or 53 degrees Celsius. Soft wax is an ideal material for making container candles and has the characteristics of lasting fragrance retention. Soft wax has strong flexibility and does not need additives until the candle burns out. Softer paraffin have many advantages, but they are difficult to process and emit more soot than other waxes.

Once you decide on the type of candle you want to make, you can choose the most suitable paraffin. Wherever you buy paraffin, you must know the melting point of the purchased paraffin, so that the gift candles will look good. When you buy, you need to have detailed instructions on the use of these waxes.

WGTS 91.9 invited their listeners all over the D.C. Metro area to make a difference in the community. On January 16,  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the radio station hosted “Take Over Day” at Central Union Mission, one of Washington, D.C.’s, major homeless shelters. Central Union Mission is a faith-based non-profit organization with six locations throughout the D.C. Metro area.

Not only does Central Union Mission provide emergency shelters, but it also provides a food, clothing, and furniture distribution center as well as rehabilitation programs for people with life-controlling issues. Deborah Chambers, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement helped form a partnership with WGTS 91.9 for Take Over Day. With the leadership of both Chaplain Kumar Dixit and Deborah Chambers, WGTS 91.9 and Central Union Mission came together to provide hospitality, joy, and hope to the residents.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., individuals and groups of people signed up to help with various activities: preparing and serving meals, changing bed sheets, making sandwiches, and playing board games with the residents. Chaplain Kumar said, “The mission was so crowded with green-shirted volunteers. The cafeteria was split in two. One-half of the group was making sandwiches; the other half was playing board games with the residents.  It was a beautiful sight to see.” Central Union Mission also gave tours to the volunteers who had a special interest and wanted more information about the organization.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., Day, the Spiritual Care Department put together a special program for the residents. The mid-morning program started with everyone singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the black national anthem, followed by a poem, special music, spoken word, and a message from Pastor Paul Graham, senior pastor at Restoration Praise Center Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Later in the afternoon, a group of 30 volunteers signed up for a “prayer walk” led by Chaplain Kumar. The group spent 90 minutes walking throughout the whole mission, praying over each level, room, and bed in the mission. The prayer walk was such an inspiring activity for the volunteers and residents who witnessed them.

WGTS 91.9 concluded the Take Over Day with an evening worship service led by the WGTS Gateway Band. Kyle Alexander, lead singer of the band, said, “It was a, meaningful day I think everyone who was there left a little different than when they came.” Chaplain Kumar concluded the service with an inspirational thought.

 Kumar Dixit, WGTS 91.9 Chaplain remarked on the day’s event, “I can’t believe how many of our listeners took the day off to serve.  We are hoping to plan many more opportunities to serve as the Hands and Heart of Jesus.” 

WGTS 91.9 thanks God for an uplifting event and looks forward to a year of bringing unity and hope to the community.

Thank You For Supporting My Trip To Ghana WOW!  God took me across the sea to show me some things.  I've experienced so much in just the little bit of time I was there.  It was an honor to meet Bishops, Pastors, and Clergy from all over the world. I truly thank God for divine connections, as many were established! There was one instance where I was singing in the foyer of a church that had burned down...and I could hear the Holy Spirit saying...nothing will stop them from assembling to honor and learn from the Most High.  He encouraged me to continue to cultivate the same mindset. I truly appreciate being born in the United States.  What we consider basic amenities (clean water/restrooms/malls/paved roads/street signs/stoplights) are delicacies within Accra.  As I experienced praise and worship with a people that truly hunger, and thirst for God, I also experienced a part of the world that wasn't aware that "better" existed, and if they did, there was no infrastructure or consistency put in place for them to obtain it.  Jobs were scarce, and I witnessed a strong, prideful people that literally did what it took to ensure their families were provided for...which leads me to my visit to Dr. Charles Abban's Rock Hospital. The Rock Hospital was an event/visit that I will never forget.  It was like I was inserted into a time portal taking me back 30 years. Specializing in patients being challenged with HIV/AIDS, I was able to encourage and pray with several patients.  Although heartbroken, I felt really good when we left because they were smiling!  I was privy to tour the juvenile prison system, and LET ME JUST SAY THAT our system is like a 5-star resort compared to what the inmates have to endure in Accra. NicoisMUSIC plans to fully support Madam Abena Asomaning, of the Angel-Zoe foundation in assisting the Ghana Prisons service.   We are working with Ms. Asomaning to obtain a wish list to provide materials for their programs to help prepare the inmates via a trade (i.e. mechanic, sowing, carpentry) when they are released.  While receiving a humanitarian award from Dr. Abban for my contribution to the kingdom I could hear God whisper in my ear  (my husband and mother provided confirmation)....GET READY...GET READY....GET READY...I have so much more in store for the Christ in you!
