美国的大学以“宽进严出”出名，因此留美的同学一定都明白 GPA低 是一件十分危险的事情。在美留学，很多同学会因为各种因素例如身体原因，课程不合适，或是家庭原因导致 GPA低 ，然而 GPA低 将会造成被警告、停学甚至被开除的可能，所以在美留学保持住一个好的GPA是一件非常重要的事情。

G同学案例

G同学就读于一所美国东部的知名大学，但是由于课程难度系数较高，GPA低造成了被学校开除的后果。G同学在收到学校开除通知后找到了求真教育，在我们询问情况后得知，由于G同学不完全清楚GPA要求，因此在学习过程中将全部的精力花在了一节不太擅长且难度较高的课中，与此同时身体情况也变得糟糕，由此造成了其他课程也没有完全兼顾，导致所有课程拿到C，面临被开除的处罚。G同学找到我们后，姚老师第一时间了解具体情况得知由于G同学没有在第一时间与教授沟通，原本可以换课避免拿C的课程，实际成绩与B-十分靠近。姚老师认为学校要求GPA与G同学的相差不多，因此申诉的可能性还是很高的。

在学校下达开除决定后，姚老师立即帮助G同学准备并模拟了听证会，将该如何在听证会上措辞、表现传达给G同学以排除紧张和不知所措。但是听证会结束后学校依然维持了开除这一决定，G同学认为此处罚过重，随后再次找到姚老师询问是否有申诉的可能性。

姚老师立马提出思路和意见，决定立即辅助G同学完成一封谨慎的申诉信，并且制定日学习计划。最终，学校决定降级处分，给了G同学继续留校学习的机会。得知此结果后G同学十分感谢姚老师，并且在求真教育选择了学术辅导服务去提高自己的GPA。求真教育的辅导老师尽心尽职，G同学也因此更加刻苦努力学习，最后以3.1的GPA成绩顺利毕业。
