Two common solutions of power supply
Among the traditional design solutions of power supply in controller circuit, the most common solutions are: RC (resistance-capacitance) step-down and the industrial frequency transformer step-down. We will talk about the features of these 2 solutions with pic2 & pic3.

And the output over-current detection circuit will protect the back-side load when the power supply works abnormal.
The advantages of this small transformer are low cost and small area occupation on PCB, which are the exact demands of smart home. While, the disadvantages are: 1) low efficiency, 2) narrow range of input voltage, 3) value of load is easy to be affected, 4)uneasy to test the circuit. The worst point is the non-isolation between the input and output, it may easily lead to electric shock which may cause harm to personal safety.
Illustration of industrial frequency transformer step-down circuit of the controller panel is shown as pic 3. Input and output circuits are same as RC step-down solution as both of them need to protect the voltage and back-side load. The difference is that the power is converted by transformer. Supplying by AC input with frequency of 50HZ Transformer step-down the input power, and then using rectifier and filter circuit and LDO to get a regulated voltage for the load.
The advantages of this solution are: 1) easy to test, 2) simple in circuit structure, 3) safety level upgraded as the input and output is isolated by transformer, and 4) lower cost.
Its disadvantages are 1 ) limitation of input range, 2) bulky in size and low in efficiency, which is against the demands of smart home as compact size and energy-saving.
A typical AC/DC power module for smart home
The above two solutions have different disadvantages. RC (resistance-capacitance) step-down circuit may cause harm to personal safety and the industrial frequency transformer step-down circuit don’t satisfy the request for compact size and energy-saving. In this system, solar PV arrays generate electricity from sunlight,ac to dc power conversion is converted from DC to AC using an inverter, then AC electricity is fed into the grid for home or business, or is used to charge the batteries by the power conversion system (also known as energy storage bi-directional inverter). The power conversion system supplies power based on the supply-demand balance of electricity.
In a centralized or distributed electricity generation system network, a centralized or distributed inverter is the heart of solar PV system. The safe and reliable turn on or turn off for the IGBT full-bridge is the most critical part of the overall system design and the most reliable part during inversion in DC high voltage and high power systems. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the operation logic of the control unit reliably , and to maximize the insulation characteristics between each monitoring control units or dangerous electrical circuits in circuit design of IGBT drive control units.

Figure 2 is an example of inverter systems. Generally, there is a DC/DC converter (PV60-27D1215) in the front end to take electricity from DC bus and convert it into 24Vdc to supply power to the control unit. The isolation voltage of this DC/DC converter should be 4000Vac or higher to ensure the safety and reliability between high voltage bus and control unit circuit. The system drive isolation unit is connected between IGBT and the system control board, so that the drive unit is required to have high insulation characteristics to ensure stable and reliable operation of the main control system.

The IGBT drive circuit is mainly used to isolate, transmit, amplify the control pulse signal to drive the power to achieve reliable, stable, safe driving of the IGBT power device. Following requirements are suggested to be considered during IGBT drive board design:

In this circuit diagram, terminal 2 and terminal 14 are connected to the gate level (G), terminal 2 of FOD3120 chip is connected to the control signal. When the control signal is high, the chip outputs a high level, the NPN transistor (2SC5569) is turned on, the PNP transistor (2SA2016) is turned off, the positive output terminal (+V0) of the power module QA151 is connected to the gate level(G), and the IGBT is turned on. When the control signal is low, the chip outputs a low level, the NPN transistor (2SC5569) is turned off, the PNP transistor (2SA2016) is turned on, and the negative output terminal (-V0) of the power module QA151 is connected to the gate level(G), and the IGBT is turned off.

Love trumps hate
Zhiyun-Tech just announced their new flagship stabilizer for higher payloads – Zhiyun CRANE 3S. With its new powerful motors, the gimbal can support loads up to 6.5kg (14.33 lbs) so it should be able to handle many cinema cameras. It also offers modular design with EasySling Handle and SmartSling Handle and it can be used with EasyRig. It is available now in three kits.
The Chinese gimbal manufacturer Zhiyun-Tech first introduced the new gimbal design with the CRANE 3 LAB and Weebill LAB back in 2018. The aim of the gimbals was to improve the ergonomics for easier underslung filming mode – when the camera is underneath the gimbal. Since then, the smaller stabilizer Weebill LAB already got its improved successor with the Weebill-S compact gimbal in October 2019. Now the time has come to improve the larger model. Zhiyun-Tech just announced its new flagship stabilizer for higher payloads – the Zhiyun CRANE 3S. Let’s take a short look at its features and specs.
Zhiyun CRANE 3S
One of the most significant changes in the new Zhiyun CRANE 3S are its new, more powerful motors which allow it to handle up to 6.5kg (14.33 lbs) payloads allowing to use the gimbal with heavier camera setups. According to Zhiyun, the gimbal will be able to handle setups with Canon EOS 1DX, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras, Canon Cinema EOS, Sony FS and FX series, and RED Digital Cinema cameras. It should even be possible to balance a Blackmagic URSA on the gimbal, although it has to be mounted reversed.

CRANE 3S also features a modular design in the motor axis and handles. For larger cinema camera combos, users can attach the included extension module onto the roll axis. For smaller DSLR combos, the extension module can be removed to make the setup compact and portable.

With CRANE 3S, Zhiyun-Tech also introduces a detachable second handle with two options:
EasySling Handle extends the grip for more comfort upright & underslung operation
SmartSling Handle features an intuitive control panel and OLED screen, for direct camera & gimbal parameter adjustment
It is possible to combine both handles as they are easy to fit and remove. Both provide multiple thread holes in different sizes to mount accessories. The modular design makes the CRANE 3S compatible with motorized dollies, jibs, cable cams, EasyRig, etc. Especially the compatibility with EasyRig is important in my opinion as some setups with the CRANE 3S will be very heavy for handheld operation.

With three 18650-format batteries, CRANE 3S can run for up to 12 hours. A DC-in power port on the battery compartment allows input of up to 25.2V for direct charging. To support long shoots with larger setups, Zhiyun introduces the TransMount PowerPlus Battery Pack which houses six 18650 batteries and independently provides 18 hours of runtime for the gimbal.

The newly-designed locking system can lock all three axes without noticeable swinging. The modular design comes with double locks for additional safety. A larger lens support has been added to the zoom and focus system.
Image Transmission Module
Zhiyun-Tech’s TransMount Image Transmission Module is, of course, compatible with the CRANE 3S. With the transmitter, the video can be streamed to up to three monitoring devices including smartphones. The ViaTouch 2.0 system in the ZY Play app bridges the communication gap between stabilizer, camera and monitoring devices, allowing users to adjust camera and gimbal parameters remotely. The ViaTouch 2.0 system also enables a visualized remote motion control for the gimbal.

Introduction to moisture analyzer
An instrument capable of detecting the moisture content of various organic and inorganic solids, liquids, gases, and the like is called a moisture analyzer. According to the principle of measurement, it can classify physical and chemical assays. Physical weight measurement methods commonly used are weight loss methods, distillation layering methods, gas chromatography methods, and the like. The chemical measurement methods mainly include Karl Fischer, toluene, and the like. The International Organization for Standardization has identified the Karl Fischer method as an international standard for the determination of trace moisture. Our country also uses this method as a national standard to measure trace moisture. Common weight loss method moisture meter has halogen moisture measurement, infrared moisture analyzer, microwave moisture analyzer and so on. Common Karl Fischer moisture analyzers mainly include a volumetric Karl Fischer moisture analyzer and a Coulometric (electricity method) Karl Fischer moisture analyzer.
The significance of moisture analyzer detection
1. It is one of the important quality indicators
A certain moisture content can maintain food quality and extend food preservation. The water of various foods has their own standards. Sometimes, if the moisture content exceeds or decreases by 1%, it plays a big role in both quality and economic benefits.
2. It is an important economic indicator
The food factory can calculate the material based on the moisture content of the raw materials. For example, the fresh milk has a water content of 87.5%. How much does it take to produce one ton of milk powder (7..1 milk powder rate) for this milk production milk powder (2.5% water content)? Material balances like this can be done on the basis of moisture determination. This also guides the management of production.
Another example is the production of bread. How many kilograms of water do you need for 100 kg? Material balance must be done first. The toughness of the dough is related to moisture. Add more water and the dough is soft. Add less water and the dough is hard. The bread made is not large and affects economic benefits.
3. The content of water is closely related to the growth and biochemical reaction of microorganisms.
Under normal circumstances, it is necessary to control the water to a little lower to prevent microbial growth. However, it is not as low as possible. Microbial action is usually more intense than biochemical action.From the above three points, the importance of measuring moisture can be explained. Moisture is a must in our food analysis.
