It's not too bad there is a tiny bit of latency depending on how fussy you are you might not be able to pull focus that way but otherwise, you would just take a normal monitor up to it and another thing is you can actually see the back of the screen because they've got the motor on a 45 degree angle so maybe you don't even need a monitor at all so setting up a motion time-lapse is really easy once you get your camera connected up to it you clicked the little camera top left and then go to moving time-lapse then you're gonna set your first starting point so you are going to pan the over here you are gonna hit the plus button then you are gonna fan the camera where you  want it to end and then you hit the next point and then when you are done you'll hit next and then go into your time intervals and your duration and then hit start it'll position the camera back to the start.

Metal and you know when you get kind of lighter when it comes to stabilization. It's not quite as stable versus something heavier but the nice thing is it does a really good job and it's made for smaller lighter cameras it's just really easy to set up. Except for the quick-release plate that's also on another quick-release plate so this plate just walks into the other plate and you can just take this off disconnect the USB cable but the motor and everything will stay on this little a smaller release plate. If you want to click it back in you just lock it down boom so the layout on. Zhiyun Weebill LAB is a little bit different than some of the other gimbals right now, if you want to go into follow mode you have to push in the trigger on the front and then go into follow mode than on the side you can switch down to L which is lock mode which means the gimbal will just keep the camera in the same spot then you can click POV which puts it into a follow mode which follows the roll axis as well or you can put it into V which is kind of like the vortex mode which you can do those cool vortex shots or the inception mode.

There's a new firmware and you can triple-click the LV button and it'll actually lock out all the buttons in case you click them by accident,  you should just triple-click again and then you can resume using your buttons one of the new features that Zhiyun is putting into there gimbals is the wireless image transmission this one doesn't have HDMI but you can still do it through the USB with different cameras with the Sony it works and basically plug USB into the camera and then plug the USB into the back of the gimbal here and it will transmit your image to your phones through its own Wi-Fi connection and from there you can actually change your camera settings and the gimbal settings and everything just off your phone.

So what's different about this compared to the crane v2 well physically it's exactly the same and all the basic functions are still there but aesthetically it's a little bit different and let me tell you they up the bling on this one rose gold screws and I kind of like it the subtleness of it really helps distinguish this from the previous models oh and I love how they now include a sturdy set of tripod legs which helps setting down the crane.

What's up guys I'm Jimmy from elegant screen works and today we're going to take a look at the DSLR stabilizers to crane 3 lab and the smaller we be lab from Eugene Tech enjoy since our team specialized in creating short cinematic action films on a low budget these gimbals are the perfect choice for us they include a tripod that also doubles as a handle works amazing to get bad sturdy double hand grip very ergonomic very easy to use and in context to our short film it allowed us to really get that steady high-speed cinematic footage without paying big bucks for large cranes dolly tracks and big crew to operate all that equipment for us there was a one-man job and it worked great without running gun style of film making both gimbals come equipped with an integrated camera control system this system allows you to hook up your phone or tablet to wirelessly use it as an external monitor or remote to control both the settings in the camera and the settings in the gimbals the camera control system in these gimbal's can also be used to operate the synchronous zoom and focus controller which is easily operated through the controls on the gimbal itself or through the connected phone now with a gimbal you really can't adjust the focus while shooting without messing up your shot the accessible focus control gets rid of that problem.

Permanently one thing that we also liked about these gimbals was the ability to connect monopods the extendable monopod allowed us to shoot those high angle jib shots while shooting our action movie we wanted to really push these gimbals to their absolute limits and what is a good action movie without that's right car chase roll the car chase footage . If you are deciding to buy a Zhiyun gimbal, you may feel hard to make a decision of buying a Crane 3 LAB or Weebill LAB. But don't worry, in this article, Scott will share his thoughts on the comparison between these 2 Zhiyun gimbals. Scott spent the past two months using these two POM's to really put them to the test so he can see the differences between them. If you plan on traveling a lot, you'd better go with Weebill LAB. It's much more compact and travel-friendly or maybe you have a full production staff before a big crew if so go with the Crane 3 LAB, this is much more professional for your needs and if you're probably going to be using cinema cameras the Crane 3 is more suitable for you. 

Let's compare a set of parameters:

The Zhiyun Crane 3 LAB has its own fix handle and with this handle, you're able to control more settings，such as your ISO shutter speed aperture you can do all that with this handle and behind the handle, you have what's called a zoom rocker so the Zhiyun Crane 3 includes a focus motor, a zoom motor, you are able to control the focus and zoom at the same time. These two gimbals both great gimbals and they're both going to get you great shots. If you're having a hard time getting a smooth shot with either of these gimbals you should focus more on the setting. The default factory settings on these demos maybe not suitable for your shotting. Choosing the Zhiyun Crane 3 LAB or Weebill LAB? What is your decision?

The best camera we have that being said well quite honestly our smart films are the best camera companion and today we have something that will enhance the camera performance. Well smartphone gimbal's are usually quite expensive and I know you guys want something much more on a budget today I have with me Zhiyun smooth Q and they come just under 140 dollars.

The Smooth Q is a 3-Axis handheld gimbal that is designed to work with phones with display sizes from four point seven to six inches and that weighs up to 220 grams the phone can easily be attached to the gimbal and does not require any complicated setup all you need to do is Mount the phone either horizontally or vertically and then press the on button and the 3-axis gimbal will automatically adjust the phone's position and angle coming to the build a budget-friendly gimbal like this one does have few setbacks it has a plastic handle that does feel a little easy to break well the rest of the gimbal is quite well built with metal casings all round I really love the fact that they come with a hard shell carrying case like the one you get with Osmos for its protection and you also get a standard tripod mount on the bottom now the controls here are pretty straightforward you can use the joystick to pan rotate and adjust the tilt and if you've connected the smooth view to the Zhiyun assistant mobile app you can use the power record button to take pictures or start or stop or video the mode button enables you to switch between three modes a single press cycle forwards between the modes and double press cycle backwards to the mode.

The WT toggle button is meant to zoom in and out of the show nap and now talking about the app it presents information about the gimbal including the battery remaining current mode degrees of pitch roll pan etc inside the app you can even calibrate the gimbal and then comes the camera interface which is simple and easy to understand there are settings inside the camera where you can control things like the ISO white balance and the exposure compensation for the camera but DF support ISO values within 100 to 400 range which might not be suitable under all situations face or object tracking in this app works great in the Android app but somehow doesn't work well enough in iOS but then again this will probably be fixed in the future updates.

The smooth Q does a great job of keeping the track object inside the frame and since it does this with slow movement the output video is usually smoother the highlight of the skimble is the huge 26650 milliamp hour battery which can be charged by a USB cable with that kind of battery the demo can easy lost over ten hours of usage overall the gimbal does a great job they are not too many bumps or shakes visible it's not perfectly steady but overall really usable please keep in mind that the result also depends on which phone is using as a rolling shutter and lack of image stabilization can be an issue launched as a competitor to the Oslo mobile this gimbal has by far the best mobile gimbal in its price segment if you really want to get a steady and smooth shot while walking or even running the shoe in smooth Q is a decent entry-level smartphone gimbal.

A lot of people think they need an expensive camera in order to make beautiful video you only need an expensive phone yes sir no and now we're going to be talking about six tips to improve your video work using only your phone or with just that little pocket camera.

1.If you have a phone with more lenses usually a different focal lens it would really make your video look a lot more professional because there is a lot more variation going on not only that you Show each scene with the focal length to enhance your story but it also shows you like you've put more time and effort in your video by swapping out some lenses. I know that's not possible with any phone but more phones nowadays have multiple lenses in their body and that really helps to put some variation in your shots having nice close-ups medium shots and those wide shots I really love them wide shots especially on the new Samsung S 10 plus I thought I didn't really care much about the new lenses being introduced in the body but after testing and using the wide-angle lens it's super

amazing so if you have a chance to check it out definitely give it a try.

2. change perspective all of people would hold their phone in front of their face recording their kids from an angle pointing down this is very amateur estate lowering the angle to the subject in question or increasing it to the height of their eye level is usually a good start setup note that objects also have an eye level so really play around with that perspective anyway it doesn't have to be only eye level but you can also record a nice sequence by just lowering it to your waist it also creates a more unique and creative perspective close to the ground can also look very epic and very fast to increase the speed of your movement.

3. To take care of your movement movement is not only adding dynamic nough stew your videos but it is also used to enhance or clarify your story if you're recording with your phone the last thing that you want the audience to think is that you're actually using a phone so to eliminate that pop maybe try investing in a smartphone gimbal I currently have a collaboration with Zhiyuna brand that is a market leader when it comes to gimbels they produce amazing game balls for regular cameras but they also release a smartphone gimbal like this one the Zhiyun Smooth 4gimbal's make your shot looks so much more cinematic and smooth that nobody would think of a smartphone if you would record handheld it would make a lot of shake just because of the form and weight of a phone and the in-camera stabilization is good but combine that with a gimbal and it will be pretty much perfect so look at the difference between the gimbal and just a regular phone and the fun thing is that you can also get creative with this so you can use it as a crane a dolly slider or just smooth 3d movement for some really unique shots especially in combination with the transman telescopic monopod with locking battle whew

 4.When recording with a phone you usually use your phone on a daily basis a lot of people when filming forget something super simple but very important to clean their lenses if you haven't cleaned your lens for a while you'll have a very blurry and ugly image just clean it up and it will be a thousand times sharper and have more contrast

5. Look at the resolution options off your smartphone camera some of them have 4k but you'll lose capabilities of the camera stabilization. For example Low slow motion options to really pick the resolution that fits best for each scene, so depending on each

scene I record in full HD or 4k but I found that the Samsung S 10 plus really shines when I'm recording in 4k it's just so much sharper and so much crisper so I prefer using that but in some occasions I do film in Full HD to have some other benefits from that.
