Năm ngoái, DJI đã trình làng công nghệ gimbal Osmo Mobile 3 có thể gập làm đôi, cùng với thiết kế kẹp tân tiến nhất cho phép thiết bị hỗ trợ một chiếc iPhone có gắn ống kính, biến nó trở thành chiếc gimbal nhỏ nhất so với các sản phẩm gimbal hiện có trên thị trường.

Tuy nhiên, đối thủ của DJI là Zhiyun đã không chịu lép vế trước Osmo Mobile 3 của DJI và cho ra mắt chiếc gimbal chống rung cho smartphone hoàn toàn mới với thiết kế nhỏ gọn và nhẹ hơn với cái tên Smooth X vào năm nay.

Smooth X chỉ nặng 246g cùng với thiết kế gấp gọn bằng lòng bàn tay, cho phép người dùng có thể dễ dàng cầm nắm cũng như thuận tiện khi bỏ vào vali khi đi du lịch hay mang đi bất cứ nơi đâu để chụp ảnh với kích thước nhỏ gọn và thiết kế linh hoạt.

Không những vậy, tay cầm của Smooth X còn có thể kéo dài lên đến 260nm, hỗ trợ đắc lực cho người dùng có thể chụp hình selfie hay ghi hình những bức ảnh tập thể ở nhiều góc độ đa dạng khác nhau.

Ngoài ra trục động cơ của chiếc gimbal này có thể xoay gập hoặc cố định thiết bị ở nhiều góc độ khác nhau nhằm mang đến những khung hình với góc độ linh hoạt và sáng tạo hơn.

Getting started to use Zhiyun Smooth Q you just need to slot your mobile phone. The follow mode will lock the camera in that position which is very handy sin you hand moves around it keeps the camera in that same position so if you can see your hands moving their left and right the mobile phone is still pointing straight ahead. It works perfectly fine the same exact stabilization and the modes of this is the smooth Q the new model 450 grams remember it does have a larger battery in there and then the old model which is three hand and 96 grams so the newer one it's 50 grams more heavy but because it has that extra battery in there that it's a worthwhile trade-off there. This mode actually faces in that same direction allows you to do some interesting shots.

The smooth Q it's a new mobile gimbal from ZHIYUN, this is a decent gimbal. So this one apparently the improved version now will give us up to 11 hours of battery life and that battery pack and it can actually be doubled up to be used as a portable power pack charging a mobile phone you can also attach accessories now so that means you can put on an external microphone and you can also put on those means attachments and things like that it also works in portrait mode. It have a little strap that must be just for the case there, so you can sling that over your shoulder of course and carry it around with you without need of a backpack other accessories it has a micro USB cable okay so that's nicely packaged and you can see that it's got a form to it so that should give it pretty good protection enough now you can feel definitely lighter but it looks a little bit more elasticy.

It has the typical joystick there you can see so different modes on here now this one here is for the application as your focus controls for that and recording with the applications adds a power on you can turn that on your different modes and of course then the joystick there for your pad and tilt on lived here there's a micro USB and that's to charge it obviously and down the bottom there's a quarter inch thread so you can connect this up to a tripod just turn this around and you see here is a full-size USB that will be to charge your devices when you use this like a battery pack now here's the last gettin gimbal which you can see doesn't come with a hard case which was a slight annoyance. But this one has the removable battery so you always have to put the batteries into the base of this bit quality-wise.

This is all mostly all-metal apart from you could say the joystick gear that's plastic and we still have the thread on the bottom because battery capacity wise this one is just so much larger they're 11 hours or 12 hours it is versus around 3 to 4 on this one and you can see this one also you need to screw on a counterweight onto the end of this. There is no counterweight needed now for larger mobile phones on the smooth Q.

A product’s development will go through several phases.First of all is its functionality, as an air condition must cooler air, a voice box must make sound. So a stabilizer must stabilize the footage.

After years of research, the stabilization is the most important problem we need to consider for a stabilizer. On this base, we have reached the second level which is how to improve the product and how to improve the user experience, how to improve details to make users feel the gimbal is a very good product to use. During years of the stabilizer design, we actually added many small designs to our product to bring a better user experience. For example, we creatively added a lock axis on SMOOTH 4’s roll axis to make it can standby after folding. This lock system makes the portability improved a lot and easier to fit in a bag, but we still think the portability has more room to improve, so after the SMOOTH 4 released, we keep thinking about how to make a stabilizer more portable. The first plan comes to our mind is to make a foldable gimbal but there are some flaws with a foldable gimbal. For example, the folding connection part itself is relatively large. Furthermore, it is reduced in size over a unidirectional length after folding, but it actually expands the volume of space, which means it didn’t smaller the size too much. So we were considering if there’s a perfect solution to this problem. Then we think how about just smaller it based on its original product form, to make it small enough so that it needn’t to be folded, then the SMOOTH Q2 came out. It’s only palm size and very compact. From the prospective of product, it is easy to make product large but hard to make it small, because we must smaller each component while ensure its performance. For example, the SMOOTH Q4 though is smaller in its size, but the payload didn’t decrease. On the contrary it improves in its battery run time, because we didn’t use the 18650 lithium battery, but use the 21700 high rate lithium battery. The battery volume isn’t larger than the 18650 battery, but the run time is improved. Besides we also designed a quick-release smartphone holder. With the red latch, you only need to unlock the latch then the holder can be taken down and you can assemble it very easily by plugging it in. Because of its convenient mounting system, you can shoot at any scenarie any time without the hassle of rebalancing the phone. The reason we can make it so small is also because of its all aluminum alloy body. It has a distinct difference from plastic material. Due to the better support provided by metal material. Its rigidity is more than several times of the plastic material, so we can make the size smaller while remain the payload the same as the previous product. Besides from the perspective of a industrial designer, the texture of metal is more delicate and solid. To improve the using experience, we added a soft rubber pad on the grip. In order to provide comfort feeling during long-time using. We’ve tried many proportion designs and adjusted many times during product design. Finally, we decided on the current design, it has a very clear distinction of the operation area and the rubber pad area.

A lot of people think they need an expensive camera in order to make beautiful video you only need an expensive phone yes sir no and now we're going to be talking about six tips to improve your video work using only your phone or with just that little pocket camera.

1.If you have a phone with more lenses usually a different focal lens it would really make your video look a lot more professional because there is a lot more variation going on not only that you Show each scene with the focal length to enhance your story but it also shows you like you've put more time and effort in your video by swapping out some lenses. I know that's not possible with any phone but more phones nowadays have multiple lenses in their body and that really helps to put some variation in your shots having nice close-ups medium shots and those wide shots I really love them wide shots especially on the new Samsung S 10 plus I thought I didn't really care much about the new lenses being introduced in the body but after testing and using the wide-angle lens it's super

amazing so if you have a chance to check it out definitely give it a try.

2. change perspective all of people would hold their phone in front of their face recording their kids from an angle pointing down this is very amateur estate lowering the angle to the subject in question or increasing it to the height of their eye level is usually a good start setup note that objects also have an eye level so really play around with that perspective anyway it doesn't have to be only eye level but you can also record a nice sequence by just lowering it to your waist it also creates a more unique and creative perspective close to the ground can also look very epic and very fast to increase the speed of your movement.

5. Look at the resolution options off your smartphone camera some of them have 4k but you'll lose capabilities of the camera stabilization. For example Low slow motion options to really pick the resolution that fits best for each scene, so depending on each

scene I record in full HD or 4k but I found that the Samsung S 10 plus really shines when I'm recording in 4k it's just so much sharper and so much crisper so I prefer using that but in some occasions I do film in Full HD to have some other benefits from that.
