KBA-L Linear Bearing Pillow Block

ISUTAMI KBA-L long linear bearing , also known as KBA-L extended linear bearing unit, KBA-L extended linear slide unit or KBA-L extended linear case housing (unit), is a suitable series for European market. L is an abbreviation for Long. This model consists of a long type aluminum housing with 4 fixing holes as well as two KB standard linear bearings. There is an oil hole on the unit side and one circlip on each end in the proper position. There are also two rubber seals (UU) at both ends of the linear bearing to keep back debris or ball bearing contamination. The aluminum casing is applied because it is small and lightweight, this kind of material has strong corrosion resistance.

KBA-L Linear Bearing Pillow Block Features

The KBA-L long linear bearing pillow block housing is a closed, double-length European metric version. The two KB standard linear bearings are mounted in the housing and arranged in a straight line in the aluminum casing. Advantages of the bearing bushing include less tilt or friction, less wear over time, and better machining results.

 

If you are manufacturing CNC milling machines, milling machines or lathes that require precise linear motion, it is a perfect solution to install this long aluminum bearing housing with KB standard linear bearings. Aluminum housing size range: length (L) ranges 58-230mm (matching KB standard linear bearing length (L) ranges 25-100mm); width (W) ranges 34-122mm; height (F) ranges 22-102mm. The minimum combined size of the specification KBA8L is 58*34*22mm, and the largest combined specification KBA50L is 230*122*102mm. These data are basically the same as the SMA-L extended type linear bearing pillow block, except that the KBA-L series has no diameter of 12mm and 35mm. The aluminum housing has four CNC drilled holes, threaded holes and countersunk holes of the same size M4-M10, which can be easily and safely mounted to almost any linear motion system.

 

A typical CNC system consists of a linear shaft of matching diameter, ranging from 8 to 60 mm in diameter, mounted on both ends of the shaft by two end supports, and the housing of the extended linear bearing runs straight along the shaft. Most CNC machines and 3D printers have two such components mounted side-by-side, using a housing as a stand to support the mobile platform. This is a long unit able to be mounted from above or below, making it easy to incorporate into the intended system. Positioning and precision enhancements are facilitated with one of the side aspects serving as datum face. The extruded aluminum case has undergone sufficient post-extrusion heat treatment to create a compact, lightweight and precision item.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE AMONG WELD NECK FLANGES, SOCKET WELD FLANGES, SLIP ON FLANGES?

Weld neck flanges, slip on flanges, socket weld flanges have different production standards, different applicable occasions. In addition, weld neck flange is the interface end pipe diameter and wall thickness is the same as the pipe to be welded.

 

Slip on flange is the joint being processed to a concave table a little larger than the pipe outside diameter, pipe inserted in the inside for welding. Weld neck flange has better welding performance and less corrosion.

 

Slip on flanges are generally used for low and medium pressure pipelines, weld neck flanges are used for connection of middle and high pressure pipelines, generally at least pn2.5mpa. Weld neck flanges are used to reduce stress concentration.

 

Features of various forged flanges:

Socket welding flange is suitable for connecting pipe with small diameter, high pressure and high temperature.

Slip on flange is the same with weld neck flange, has a groove cut in the lug and the pipe inserted into it for welding.

Socket weld flange has no boss, directly cut a groove in the flange body, just like a hole in the blind flange, and then cut a groove.

Slip on flange is slightly better than socket weld flange in performance.
