The paddle agitator has the simplest structure. The blades are made of flat steel, welded or fixed on the hub with bolts. The number of blades is 2, 3 or 4. The blade forms can be divided into flat blade and folded blade. That is to say, according to the shape and characteristics of the blades, it can be divided into flat blade agitator and inclined blade agitator. The horizontal agitator produces radial force while the inclined agitator produces axial force. The paddle agitator is suitable for mixing low viscosity liquid, suspension and solution.
Application of paddle mixer machine
- In the liquid-liquid system, the paddle mixer machineis used to prevent separation and make the tank temperature uniform. In the solid-liquid system, it is mainly used to prevent solid settlement.
- Paddle type mixer is mainly used for fluid circulation. Because of the same displacement, the power consumption of the folded blade type is less than that of the flat blade type, and the operation cost is lower, so the axial flow blade is used more.
- It can also be used to stir high viscosity fluid, promote the up and down exchange of fluid, replace the high price spiral belt impeller, and obtain good results.
Precautions for maintenance of paddle mixer machine
Regularly replenish lubricating oil for reducer and chain, grease for main shaft bearing and door opening bearing;
The chain should always be tightened slightly, otherwise, the loose chain is easy to cause jumping teeth, blade fighting, and other failures, resulting in unnecessary losses;
Check and supplement the lubricating oil in the oil mist eliminator of the pneumatic system regularly, and check the water collection in the air-water separator to ensure that the water level in the tank does not exceed 80%;
Check whether there is air (oil) leakage in the pneumatic pipeline and interface, if any, replace the air pipe or plug in the connector again;
Check the mixer rotor regularly and remove the sundries such as braided tape, nylon thread head, etc;
Check whether there is leakage at the shaft head of paddle agitator mixer frequently. If there is leakage, tighten the gland bolt slightly, and replace the packing after the packing is worn out. Check the four corners of the mixer door frequently for leakage. If there is leakage, adjust the support of the door arm and tighten the screws.
