"Broken Cisterns is about a group of young Black women --just like you, your sisters, cousins and friends -- trying to stay saved against all odds and attacks of the devil. It stars Willow Tanner, a 26 year old who is living the perfect dream: gorgeous and devoted husband, great career, good friends, and an enviable life -- until a jarring event zaps her awake. It's up for "Best Faith-Based Blog," "Best Personal Blog," and "Best Blog Post Series," for my women's empowerment series "The Prototype."
