Man At War!

Posted by PreachPastor.com

Many of today’s modern governments have a multi pillar approach when dealing with an enemy. The political approach, covert measure, counter-proliferation, sanctions and when all else fails, the need to issue a regime change. The same concept can also be applied to the eternal struggle for the Souls of mankind. All believers who have accepted Christ declared war against sin and walked away victorious once the final pillar became the only option to establish peace. I am asking you today, “What political action did you attempt before applying a regime change?”

Many people know that the story of the Adam and Eve and believe that the first sin occurred in the Garden of Eden. In reality the first sin was when Satan and his angels rebelled against God. In efforts to continue to defy God, Satan turned to corrupt the hearts of humanity using lies to beguile man to sin against God. This separation caused men and women to be eternally cursed, thrusting mankind into the spiritual war for our very existence.

The multi pillar approach will fail in our efforts to win the spiritual battle. For there is only one way by accepting Jesus even though we may try one or all of the pillars. The only method that will bring about results is the regime change. Here are a few reasons why the political and covert measure will never work and why issuing Christ as your new King is the only regime that will work.

The political approach involves compromise, placing your soul in a losing position. This is evident because Jesus clearly states, “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth” (Revelations 3:16). God is looking for you to love Him without compromise so the political approach clearly will resolve regaining peace in the war for your soul.

The covert measure is a planned approach to resolve a crisis. Usually it will attempt to make a move on the enemy in a manner that is concealed. You will hear many people say that I plan to go to church later after I have my fun or attend Church on Sunday then returning to their daily routine. The covert measure allows sin the opportunity to revolve in your life on a weekly schedule. Yes, you are living your life just as you planned it, but not according the Word. Our efforts to live life in this manner will keep your soul in constant deliberation. So in your attempts to move out and move on, the enemy will be useless only because negotiable efforts are being dealt by the father of lies. (John 8:44)

If you haven’t ushered in the regime change, today you can. If you do not know Christ as your personal savior and would like to: Pray this prayer with us...

God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for you up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need you in my life today, and want you in my life from now on. I acknowledge the complete work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord and take up residence in my heart to be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward I will not be bound by sin nor desire to please myself, but follow you all the days of my life. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

If you truly believe this this prayer we encourage you continue this walk of faith by joining and becoming a member of a church in your area.

God Bless,

DJ Worship More:

I am delighted to speak to the highly respected Fondrea Lewis on the “Your’ll Soul Music Hour”. I’m sure you have heard the music and have seen one of the coolest videos of 2011 sung by this woman of God. Fondrea Lewis just released her new album entitled, I Believe God along with a hit single and music video entitled “Sweeter”. Fondrea, welcome to the “Your’ll Soul Music Hour” on PreachPastor.com.

Question DJ Worship More:

Fondrea before we discuss your music, you are a minister of the Gospel first. Please share with our listeners, when did you decide to preach the Gospel?

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

I knew that I was called to preach at 17, but I didn’t actually submit to that idea until I was about 23 years old.

DJ Worship More:

My sister, you are exciting, powerful and full of life. I have seen some of your live performances on YouTube, and they are just beautiful. You’re not only an excellent vocalist, but you have also directed award-winning choirs as well.

Question DJ Worship More:

What are some of the challenges being a solo artist present? Which do you find more challenging, being a choir director or a solo artist?

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

Well I am actually a new solo “artist” per say, so I am not sure what kinds of challenges I will be up against. I just listen to the experiences of my friends who are solo artists and try to get an idea. I can imagine that one major difference is that you have to deal with less attitudes and agendas as a solo artist and with a choir directress you have to try to make voices blend, attitudes mesh, schedules match, outfits come together and the list goes on and on! With one person those kinds of decisions are much easier to make, but I love both of those areas of ministry I was just ready to experience another avenue. I have 18 years of experience being a choir directress. I was just ready for something new! Maybe I will be able to answer that question differently after a few years of being a solo artist. We’ll see how long I last……LOL

Question DJ Worship More:

The music video for “Sweeter” from the “I believe God” album is one of the coolest and just relaxing music videos I’ve seen in awhile. When I say cool, to me the feeling I get is just that everyday vibe. You know, I can truly relate with the environment and peace in the video.

Question DJ Worship More:

What was your inspiration behind the song “Sweeter?”

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

Thank you so much, I love the video as well, And that was the idea behind the video which was directed by George Searight Jr.

That song was actually written by my 19-year-old daughter Kayla who you see there in the video with me. (Smile) She is an amazing songwriter, musician and singer who happen to have her own relationship with God. She came in my room one morning at about 2a.m. and said “Mom tell me what you think” and immediately I fell in love with the song and I asked her if I ever recorded could I put that song on my album? She said really? I don’t think it’s good enough and said let me worry about that because I LOVE IT!!!! So there you have it! Maybe soon you will be interviewing her alone. This Girl has a bright future!!!!

Question DJ Worship More:

Fondrea, I don’t want to be a spoiler, but your album has a lot to offer the listener. What is your favorite song on the CD and why?

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

I do happen to love all of the songs but my actual favorite song is “I cried to the Lord” because it is the song that the Lord gave to me. I appreciate all of the other writers but that song was birthed from my personal experience with God.

DJ Worship More:

Fondrea where can we purchase your CD?

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

The CD is now available on I-Tunes, Twitter, CD-Baby, Rhapsody, V-Cast and Napster.

DJ Worship More:

What websites can we read more about you and how can fans follow up on your latest achievements?

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

You can find out more about me and where I we will be on my website, Fondrealewis.org and I am also on FaceBook.com and Twitter.com as well.

DJ Worship More:

Fondrea, thank you for taking this time to speak with PreachPastor.com. Your presence alone will light up any room that God has sent you to walk into its doors.

Thank you and God Bless.

Answer Fondrea Lewis:

Thank you so much for having me, it was a pleasure to share with you!

Daniel Fasting with Kristen Feola

Posted by PreachPastor.com

January 11, 2011 Preachpastor.com will begin a 21 day Daniel Fast. This invitation is extended to everyone who is looking to get a fresh Word from the Lord.

The Daniel Fast originated when the Prophet Daniel refused to eat meat that was sacrificed to the Babylonian’s gods’ because it did not agree with the Mosaic Law. Drinking water and eating vegetables and fruits was the diet for Daniel and his friends given to them by the guards while they were in the court of Nebuchadnezzar.

Now, in 2012 abstaining from sweets, breads and artificial ingredients for 21 days is a challenging task. Kristen Feola, is the author of “The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast” a must read to those who are looking to participate in a Daniel Fast or looking to change your diet for a healthier turn for the better.

Question DJ Worship More:

Kristen, your book will be a blessing for anyone looking to undertake the Daniel Fast. What was your motivation when you decided to write “The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast?”

Answer Kristen Feola:

I didn’t actually start out with the idea of writing a book. When our church participated in a corporate Daniel Fast in September 2009, I sensed the Lord prompting me to start a blog about my journey. I didn’t expect it to be anything more than a personal journal. Since I like to cook and had recipes from a previously unpublished cookbook, I began posting recipes and devotions on my blog for people in my church. Word spread, and people began visiting my site to find encouragement and practical help on their fast. Two months after our fast ended, I went to a Christian writer’s conference and proposed a book on the Daniel Fast to an agent, who eventually became my agent. That connection was certainly a divine appointment because it led to a miraculous book contract with Zondervan, one of the largest Christian publishers in the world. God directed every step of my journey, and I give Him all the glory!

Question DJ Worship More:

Your book should not be labeled as just a cook book for it’s the “The Ultimate Guide”. How will this book provide food for the readers spiritually?

Answer Kristen Feola:

Since the purpose of a fast is to spend more time in prayer and in the Word, I provide 21 devotions, one for each day of the fast. The devotions are meant to be a springboard that motivates people into deeper study. For example, Day 6, “Cries in the Night,” tells the story about a time when my daughter was sick and I needed to show compassion. Then, I relate my personal experience to what the Bible says. I also list five related verses on God’s compassion and comfort for those who want to study a little deeper.

Question DJ Worship More:

Kristen, the Daniel Fast isn’t a requirement for Christians. So why should we fast as believers?

Answer Kristen Feola:

Nowhere in the Bible does it say, “Thou shalt fast.” However, there are a number of Scripture passages in both the Old and New Testaments that seem to imply that fasting will be a regular part of our lives (2 Chronicles 20:1-4; Ezra 8:21-23; Nehemiah 1:1-4; Matthew 4:1-11). Perhaps the main reason I believe we should fast on a regular basis is the fact that Jesus fasted. He set an example for us. If Jesus the Son of God, recognized the importance of fasting in his life, shouldn’t we as well?

Question DJ Worship More:

You have an awesome website, filled with various delicious Daniel safe recipes, just curious which dish is your favorite?

Answer Kristen Feola:

Oh, that’s a tough one! There are several that I like. One of my favorite snacks is Apples with Date Honey. I like to add chopped pecans and unsweetened coconut flakes on top. It’s so yummy! The most popular recipes from my book are Baked Oatmeal, Black Bean Chili Bake, and Date Honey.

Question DJ Worship More:

Kristen what websites can we read more about you and your ministry? How can we stay up to date with your latest achievements?

Answer Kristen Feola:

My book is available anywhere books are sold nationwide (both Christian and regular bookstores). You can also order The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast online (my blog, Amazon, etc.). Be sure to visit my blog regularly at www.ultimatedanielfast.com. Add me as a friend on Facebook and Twitter.

Anyone who is doing the Daniel Fast right now should sign up for my January 2012 Seek & Find Daniel Fast Newsletter (right sidebar on blog). You'll receive daily encouragement emails, exclusive Daniel Fast recipes not found in the book, cooking videos showing how to make recipes, and weekly blog chat sessions to interact with me and others on the fast. You can also sign up for my regular Ultimate Daniel Fast Newsletter in the same place.

DJ Worship More:

Kristen, you are the best! I want to thank you for taking your time to share and help encourage so many Christians in their undertaking of the Daniel Fast. You are a writer of a new genre in books labeled under the Spiritual Cookbook!

Thank you and God Bless!
