According to statistics released by the ministry of industry and foreign trade of Brazil and compiled by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, in the first half part of Brazil exports 2015, 5.789 billion us dollars were exported to Arab countries, the Arab times reported on August 22. Among them, exports to the united Arab emirates reached 1.289 billion us dollars, up 7.91% year on year. Exports to Saudi Arabia reached us $1.285 billion, up by 8.93%.Exports to Qatar were $152 million, up 28.89 percent. Exports to Egypt, Algeria, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait were $915 million, $484 million, $303 million, $169 million and $111 million, respectively.

Brazil's main exports to Arab countries are meat, sugar, mineral residues, grains. Brazil's meat exports to Arab countries reached 1.846 billion us dollars in the first half of the year, up 2.75% year-on-year. Exports of sugar were $1.267 billion, ore and slag us $757 million and grain us $160 million. Other exports include machinery, steel products, spices, coffee and tea.

Brazilian shipping containers exported 567, 100 tonnes of sugar in the fourth quarter of 2015, up 20 per cent from a year earlier but down 12 per cent from the third quarter, according to data released by shipping company Williams Brazil on Wednesday (feb 17).

Brazilian sugar container exports totaled 2.17 million tons in 2015, up 6 percent from 2014.Exports to Africa were 1.2 million tons, up 11 percent year on year and accounting for about 55 percent of total exports. Exports to Yemen were 164,700 tonnes, down 60 per cent on the year.In January, Brazil exported a total of 1.5 million tons of sugar at an average FOB price of $289.35 per ton.

Peace of Mind Therapeutic Services' 2015 Blanket & Coat Drive

Help give the gift of warmth this holiday season by donating all gently used blankets and coats for the homeless. The primary focus will be blankets and coats; however, socks are often a need so I will accept them as well. The drive will begin on Friday, October 16, 2015 until Friday, November 13, 2015. Drop off will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2015 beginning at 5pm. Distribution of blankets, coats and socks will occur in Washington, DC.

CAMP FIT MEDIA DAY !!!

Bowie, Maryland - On Thursday, August 6, 2015 “Camp Fit” will host its Media Day.  Join us and encounter the live interaction of the Camp Fit coaches and campers.  Also, meet past participants and hear their success stories. The filming of Camp Fit’s fifth season is in full bloom which began June 29th and it will broadcast in the fall of 2015 on Direct TV (NRB Network) and Roku channels which reaches over 40 million homes across the globe along with a variety of other media platforms.

Camp Fit is an interactive, holistic program and authentic television show filmed in Bowie, Maryland that school aged children attend to participate in a variety of practical, empowering activities and experiences. Each week is infused with exercise, nutrition, life skills and self-esteem building workshops. Critical measurements are documented to follow and enhance their progress. This wellness journey is not only documented in each camper’s journal, but it is also memorialized by video and edited into a life transforming reality show. In this way, Camp Fit not only impacts the tangible participants, but it leaves a positive impression upon every heart and mind connected through a variety of multi media outlets. 

Camp Fit’s founder, Rob Howze, is a Nationally Recognized Empowerment Speaker, Entrepreneur, and  national recording artist known as G.O.L.D. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of “World Wide Community”, which was established in 2008 for the benefit of students in elementary, middle, and high school to experience various sports, athletic and academic challenges, in a positive and motivational environment.  In 2010, Rob expanded the vision with “Camp Fit”. Rob has been featured on TVOne’s “The Roland Martin Show”, “The Russ Parr Morning Show”, Praise 104.1, Fresh TV, DCTV show “Dreams”, and several radio stations across the country and online.  He has been a keynote speaker for several graduations and youth programs across the country.  Rob recognizes the struggles, challenges, and disappointments that the next generation faces, therefore his programs and presentations give solutions, alternatives, and offer fresh ways of thinking and problem solving.
