Structural features of spiral ribbon mixer

The spiral ribbon mixer is composed of a U-shaped container, screw belt mixing blade, and transmission parts; U-shaped long cylinder structure ensures the small resistance movement of mixed materials (powder and semi-fluid) in the cylinder. The positive and negative rotating screw bars are installed on the same horizontal axis to form a low power and efficient hybrid environment. The screw belt blades are generally made into two or three layers. The outer spiral collects the materials from both sides to the center, and the inner spiral transports the materials from the center to both sides, which can make the materials form more vortices in the flow. The mixing speed and uniformity are increased.

Application of spiral ribbon mixer

Horizontal ribbon blender is widely used in the mixing of putty paste, real stone paint, dry powder, putty, medicine, food, chemicals, feed, ceramics, refractories and other solid-solid (i.e. powder and powder), solid slurry (i.e. powder and glue liquid), especially for the mixing of viscous materials. The mixer is not suitable for materials with large fiber content and density difference. For the putty paste, real stone paint, biology, medicine, food and other industries, stainless steel is recommended.
