"Fatherhood Panel at Greater Mount Calvary Church To Be Hosted by Former Washington Wizard Etan Thomas"
(Washington, DC)- Activist, NBA Veteran, and Acclaimed Author (Etan Thomas) will be hosting a panel at Greater Mount Calvary Church in Washington, DC on November 8th from 7pm-9pm. The panel is comprised of Washington Wizards Trevor Ariza & Aj Price; Syndicated Radio/TV Personality Russ Parr; Pastor John Jenkins of Mega-Church First Baptist Church of Glenarden, TV One's Roland Martin and many others.
They will discuss the challenges and triumphs of the modern day father. The event is "free" and open to the public.

About Etan Thomas- Etan Thomas is a former NBA player with a career averaging over 11 years. He has proven to be more than an athlete as he has published two critically acclaimed literary works. His accomplishments and recognition include being a recipient of the 2010 National Basketball Players Association Community Contribution Award as well as 2009 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Foundation Inc Legacy Award. Thomas actively supports President Obama's Fatherhood and Mentoring Initiatives. This NBA veteran continues to be an active voice involving both political and social issues.
About Trevor Ariza- Trevor Anthony Ariza, is an American basketball player. He was born on June 30, 1985 in Miami, Florida. Ariza, is currently playing for the Washington Wizards of National Basketball Association. Wearing No. 1 shirt Ariza plays at small forward position. His NBA career records show that Ariza started his rookie season coming off the bench. He was the second youngest rookie in Knicks history to play in 80 games at the age of 19. In second season, he played in 36 games and started in 10. In February 2006, Ariza was traded to the Orlando Magic.
About Aj Price- Anthony Jordan Price is the son of star basketball player at the University of Pennsylvania Tony Price, who helped lead the Quakers to the 1979 Final Four and in so doing was named to the East Regional All-Tournament. He currently plays for the Washington Wizards.

About Pastor Jenkins- Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr. serves as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Glenarden with campuses in Landover and Upper Marlboro, Md. Coupled with the support of his wife Trina, Pastor Jenkins has been the senior pastor of this thriving metropolitan church since 1989. He was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in 1973, at the early age of 15. First Baptist Church of Glenarden is one of the largest churches in Maryland with more than
