Here's a review of my book, "Random Thoughts on Life, Love, Laughter and Living for Jesus"...
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent blend of history, practical wisdom, and Christian apologetics. Love this book!

The author gleans the solid truths of Christianity from history and from life itself, and does this in such an interesting way that somehow ties a wide variety of subjects together into one cohesive and vitally important message. Some of the subjects covered include:
-Christianity's influence on education and the formation of well known colleges and universities.
-How Christianity went directly against the flow of human history and acted as a force for the advancement of rights for women, especially in cruel cultures and societies that openly encouraged the economic exploitation, political suppression, and even physical abuse of women.
-How to answer tough questions about the Christian faith using proofs, and how to ask unbelievers about their beliefs, without doing so in a way that offends those who want to discuss Christianity and their own personal beliefs.
The author uses history and his own personal experiences to demonstrate how turns in life can seem like final defeats, yet in reality can become great victories. For the Christian, this even includes the moment when we take our last breath, or lose loved ones to death. While respectful of learning and formal education, Dave's book successfully demonstrates that the hard earned wisdom that comes through life experiences, can rarely be gained from formal learning by itself. Dave makes all these points in a winsome and entertaining way that grasps the reader's attention and holds it too the last page. Simply put, it's a great book.
