Spectrophotometer, also known as spectrometer, is a commonly used analytical instrument for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the substance by measuring the absorbance of light at a specific wavelength or a certain wavelength range.

Spectrophotometer comes in many varieties and uses. Visible spectrophotometers are mainly used in chemical analysis such as metallurgy, medicine, food industry, medicine, health, chemical, school, biochemistry, petrochemical, quality control, environmental protection and scientific research laboratories. It is a single-beam spectrophotometer that measures the absorbance of visible light (400-760 nm) of a substance to be tested and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzes it.

It is absorbed by the ground state atoms of the element to be tested in the sample vapor after passing through the atomizer. The content of the element to be measured is determined by measuring the magnitude of absorption of the characteristic radiation. The UV-Vis spectrophotometer is used to measure the absorbance of the sample to visible or ultraviolet light (200-760 nm) and to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze it.
