After starting work, 24 hours a day, we spend almost half of our time in the office, which is another "home" for you. To maintain a good mood for work every day, a comfortable office environment is essential, which is also an important reason why many large companies pay special attention to the company's infrastructure construction. "I just started working, how can I buy some artifacts!" This sentence is not just everyone's voice, so am I. So, today I have sorted out some small things that must be prepared on the first day of work.Please pick up this list (in order of necessity from large to small):

1. A water-based pen, a notebook: When you first start to work, there must be a lot of things to record, especially when you are in a meeting, it is better to use a small notebook to write down than to use a mobile phone, for the reason you know .

2. Insulation cup (water cup): The size of the insulation cup is just right. The company generally has drinking hot water, which can be received at any time after drinking. After the 90s, you should start to learn to maintain health. You can use hot water to make chrysanthemum tea, wolfberry tea, and red dates.

3. Tissues: Put a large roll of paper on the desk, use it if you want.

4. Tea (coffee): Tired from work and sleepy, you can drink to refresh your mind. If there is coffee in the company, you can ignore this one.

5. A pot of green plants: Put it in front of the computer, try to prevent radiation as much as possible. Don't after working for a few months, the whole person is not like human beings.

6. Small garbage cans (garbage bags): depending on your own garbage production capacity. The company generally does not equip every employee with a trash can. If you feel that you will not produce any trash for a day, then you are free.

7. Pillow: a must for lunch break

8. Steam / heated goggles: need to stare at the computer for a long time, especially those who are engaged in the IT industry, they must know how to take care of their eyes, and let them relax during lunch break (As a myopic eye, I really understand the phrase "the eyes are the windows of the soul")

On the first day of work, do not ask your colleagues to borrow everything. The necessary things should be prepared in advance.

Trinity Chari Christie is a 12-year-old DC native with a strong faith and firm foundation! She is a leader and honor student with a beautifully unique personality. She's currently in the 7th grade and loves to read, dance, and hang out with her friends. Trinity has been dancing since she was 5 years old and is a dance teacher's assistant with Zion's Daughters Dance Ensemble, Inc., as well as a Level I dancer with the Ministry. Trinity is also an aspiring Pediatrician. Trinity has been featured on various runways as a child/teen runway model. Ms. Christie had her first debut in 2015 as a model for a local Entrepreneur who hosted a fashion show bringing awareness to Bullying in School. Trinity is proud to be an Honor Student, Tease-free Kids Ambassador and EMPOWER Girls STEAM (STEM) participant with the YWCA - National Capitol Area.

Maryland District 26 Delegate Tony Knotts, is hosting “It’s a Family Affair” Community Day and Backpack giveaway for youth in conjunction with community partners, Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners' Association, Rosecroft Raceway and, Old School Boxing.

This event will take place on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Rosecroft Raceway, 6336 Rosecroft Drive, Fort Washington, Maryland 20744. The event will include, LIVE Entertainment with a DJ, Children’s Play Station with Games, Books, Moon Bounce, Face Painting, Pony Rides, backpacks (while supplies last).

Delegate Knotts and the event sponsors hope to provide backpacks to school-age children as the school year approaches, while also providing fun and entertainment.

This is familiar terrain for Delegate Knotts, who as Councilmember, was known throughout the community for annual community day events, senior boat cruises, and various outreach events.

Dr. Washington will be inducted with four extraordinary women into the Maryland Women's Hall of Fame. Five students will be recognized during the Women of Tomorrow Ceremony.

The Maryland Women's Hall of Fame was established in 1985 to recognize women who have made contributions of historic significance to our state. It includes such luminaries as Rachel Carson, Clara Barton and Harriett Tubman, and many others whose contributions are equally significant but less well known.

The Women of Tomorrow Awards program was established in 1997 to recognize young women in middle and high school with records of academic excellence, extraordinary leadership and exceptional community service.
