The Brother MFC-9335CDW offers a wide range of features designed with you and your business in mind. The connection is only WiFi and easy to set up. There is no need to disable anti-virus software or a firewall, and Brother ned recommends that you do that again. The Print Properties dialog is very comprehensive – except when printing from Windows Photos. The default setting of 600dpi can be used, but b&w and color are just touch mute. By selecting the 2400dpi category, if you choose to print the image, select the image instead of the document, which improves the effect, even if the black effect on the text document is better.
At the time of installation, you will be asked if you want to install the BR-Script3 option at least in the Windows installer (I think this is actually required for other types of computers). Then when you select the printer in use, you will see two printers. I just said that the printer is PCL, which is good for normal printing. But for the best quality, choose a printer with BR-Script3. You can then use a different Properties dialog (“Preferences” followed by “Paper/Quality” followed by “Advanced”) for more color management. However, even without color management, you can select “Print Quality” as “Fine (2400)” and “High Quality Image Print On” for better quality. So far, I have only used ordinary 80gsm paper, but I can imagine using better paper will improve the results. It is not a photo printer, but it is perfectly suited to the images in the document. Duplex printing is an excellent feature.
