A poor man is not someone without money, cars or houses, etc, but anyone with the above things, and yet is overprotective for fear of losing or diminishing what he has. Thus, poverty is not a monetary issue, but an altitude issue rooted in a mundane mindset. Poor people are always protective; they have the way they think and behave.

When a poor man sees a visitor, the first thing that comes to his mind is that he or she is coming to eat his food, or take out what he has. Thus, some of them build high fences in order to keep people away and in the process, they shut out even their angels. Most people aren't aware of what they are losing by being too protective and self-absorbed.

When a poor man receives a telephone call, he is always very brief for fear of being asked to give out something. Poor people run away from people; they live isolated lives so as to prevent people from taking what they presume might get finish.

Rich people see themselves as oceans; they know that, what others take from them only creates space for more. Thus, they are never afraid to connect and to reach out to others. A rich man knows he can always replenish what he shares with others; thus, he is never too cautious to build relationship and to reach out to others like the poor man, who is always afraid of someone taking what he has.

Some people are poor, despite the money they have; while they are people with little money, but extremely rich.

Rich people don't eat much, they know tomorrow's portion is guaranteed, but poor people are always afraid of the unforeseen. Thus, they eat too much as a way of protecting something in their stomach for fear of the unknown. Every poor man is always a protective person; they're always protective and in the process, they protect themselves from several blessings. Have you ever met such people?

Don't forget, the difference between the poor and the rich is not money, but their altitude. Thus, poverty is an altitude issue and not a lack of money. DrBenard Etta
