This is a timeless principle on which every valuable breakthrough depends. Christ spoke those powerful words more than two thousand years ago; He didn't speak to a single generation, but to every generation. "Seek and ye shall find," is not a religious quote, but an absolute principle with boundless and timeless application. It works in just every area and sphere of life; faith, business, education, science, research, exploration, etc. In fact, limited results in every area of life is simply a failure at the level of the full implementation of "seek and ye shall find" principle.
“Seek” is the cause, and “ye shall find” is the effect. “Seek” is the input and “ye shall find” is the outcome. “Seek” is the principle, and “ye shall find” is the result. “Seek” is the investment, and “ye shall find” is the profit. “Seek” is the process, and “ye shall find” is the product, etc.
Life is a complex system of causes and effects; inputs and outcomes; principles and results; investments and profits; processes and products, etc. Understanding how life works is critical to our survival and breakthrough in life. Life is not gamble, nor a game of try and error; you can determine an effect, if you know the cause; outcome, if you know the required input; results, if you apply the right principles; profit, if you make the right investment and you can come out with the right product, if and only if you know the required process.
Nothing happens by chance; there is no result anywhere as a result of a cosmic accident. It is said in physics: “An object is at rest, until a force is applied to it.” Thus, waiting for things to happen is a sign of ignorance and a mistake of higher proportion. Every event is invented; every great move is initiated and just every house anywhere is built by someone.
“Seek and ye shall find” is not a suggestion, but an absolute law. We can reap the dividend of this law if we consciously apply it. Let’s consider the three words: “ye shall find”
“YE SHALL FIND”
These words can inspire just anyone to embark on a search of a lifetime. “YE SHALL FIND” is the hope that has inspired all seekers throughout history and in co-temporal times. It is inspiring and motivating to know the certainty of finding, if and only if we seek rightly. “FIND” denotes two important things.
i) The recovery of what was lost
ii) The discovering of the unknown
Every seeker seeks to either recover a lost experience, ground, truth, territory, etc, or to discover an unknown truth, ground and territory, etc, believed to exist. Thus, it is important to know that we can recover and discover if we seek rightly. “Seek and ye shall find” as I said in the part one of this message is a universal principle. Timeless and boundless! Placing this great truth, which can inspire people of all walks of life within the box of a religious notion, is but a denial of the potency and efficacy of the words of Christ. Actually, many religious people out of blind religious zeal have attempted to reduce the scope of the words of Christ to satisfy their religious notions. I learned long ago that Jesus Christ is not a Catholic, Protestant nor a Pentecostal; He is not a patron of any religion, but He identifies with anyone who loves the truth and seeks God in sincerity and truth.
Do you know there are several important truths, grounds and territories, etc, in different spheres and areas which have been lost through the ages that we desperately need to recover in this dispensation? Do you equally know there are still unknown territories in all spheres of strategic importance still to be explored? Ignorance in this respect would naturally kill the passion to seek. Why seek if you have no passion to recover or discover? In fact, seeking without a quest to find is nothing, but an activity in futility. When Christ made the statement; “SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND” He was establishing a principle by which we can successfully make inroads into new areas as well as into areas long neglected so as to discover and recover.
Since there are lost experiences to be recovered and unknown territories to be discovered in all spheres and areas of strategic importance, and seeking being the principle to take us there, it would be important we take a thorough look into the act of seeking and the different dimensions of seeking to find. This would be yours in the part three of this message. Hope you are inspired! Dr. Etta
