Let There Be Praise
Brothers and Sisters do you know the Difference of Praise and Worship? They are not the same thing, one is for Receiving and the other is Whom Jesus Is! Too many of you have put them both together, trying to force them together as one! Those who have been Anointed for Music should know this, but, once again a Board or a pastor has Dictated to the Music Director that they can only play 5 or 6 songs and then it is the pastors turn, whom can not go over 20 minutes.
Can you have Both come together into a Beautiful Harmony, YES!!! But let there be Understanding that they are Not The Same.
Luke 17:13-19 KJV
"13 And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw [them], he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole."
Both Praise and Worship are in these Scriptures. This Samaritan, who is the Least of the Jews, returned to Worship God First, giving Him Glory, then fell on his face and Praised Jesus for Healing Him. Both can go hand in hand but many of you do not Understand that there is a difference and both need to be Applied having the Understand between the two. Now there are those who would say that Praise is a Form of Worship, but I say, that Praise can turn into Worship or vise versa, but they are Not the same!
My Life example, I can be working hard outside on a hot day, I’m hot, sweaty and then out of no where comes this breeze that may only last for a few seconds, but the First Thing I Do, is Praise Jesus For The Breeze He Sent. I am not Worshiping, though I could, but I am giving Him Praise for Giving Me A Cool Breeze. See the key word is Giving and that Brings Jesus Praise, at that point in Time I was not set to Worship Jesus, but I gave Him Praise For Giving!!!
When I am working at my Job, I Worship throughout the day. I have Christian Music playing all day long and most of the Songs I sing in Worship to Jesus being Lord over My Life!!!
The point of this message is Church, you are Not Praising Jesus AS Lord!!! You are Not giving Jesus Due Praise for what He has done for you in Your Life, which if you Truly Understood, Jesus does not have to give us any more than He has already, by Dying For Your Sins and Rising Giving You New Life.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
There is an Important lesion in Prayer, that is, to Praise Jesus for The Answer before you see it Manifest. Some times it can be difficult to do, but it must be done! We Need to Praise Jesus for Our Answer before we get it, this is part of What makes Jesus more than Savior, but makes Him Lord Over Your Life!!!
We are to Praise Jesus in the Good Times and in the Bad Times. There are time that I do not want to Praise Jesus because of My Flesh, sometimes I Must Look for The Praise to Give Him. It is hard to Praise for an Answer, when you are hurting, depressed, lonely, scared, and list goes on, but it is during those times we Must Look for even the smallest things to be giving Jesus Praise in!!!
We always want to Praise Jesus while on the Mountain Top, but Jesus wants Praise for the Complete Mountain, from the Valley to the Journey reaching the Top.
Every Morning BEFORE I DO ANYTHING I Praise Jesus in this order and mean it.
Lord Jesus, I Thank You for the Sleep and Rest You have given me and for Giving Me another day to Worship and Praise You!! I Thank You Jesus for All that You Have Done and Are Doing and What You Will Do! I Thank You Jesus for Your Mercy and Grace upon me and for Your Love that is Abound to me! I Thank You Jesus for Your Long Suffering towards me, please Forgive me of my sins!! (then I Thank Jesus for Prayers of Needs in my Life and others Lives). Then I begin Thanking Jesus for My House and the Blessings there of; My Truck and the Blessings there of; My Car and the Blessings there of; I Thank You Jesus for My Utilities and the Blessings there of, I thank you for My Clothes and the Blessings there of; I thank you for My Food and the Blessings there of, I thank You for My Job and the Blessings there of and I ask for Your Direction and Guidance and Your Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding there of to My Best. ( then I Pray Blessings on as many people as The Holy Spirit bring to mind). At the End of My Prayer, I put my hands, palms up, and Surrender All Things To Jesus, Amen and Amen!!!
Every single day, I do this, most of My Prayer is Praise for What Jesus has given me or for The Answer Of A Prayer yet not seen. Throughout the day I also am giving Praise for different things. Church, Learn to Praise Jesus, every day, all day long!!!
Church, you think that only the Big Things in giving Praise, but Jesus wants us to Give Him Praise even in the Small Things. For seeing a Beautiful Bird, the Bee’s, the Flowers, the Trees, the Lakes, Streams and a million more things that could be added. Understand This Church, it is Not Worship, it is Praise to being given Opportunity’s to Understand How to Worship Jesus as God!!!
I see a Deer come out of the woods while fly fishing, I Praise Jesus that I Seen a Deer not being afraid or while in the yard working and a Humming Bird comes within reach and stays there for a minute, seeing it’s Brillance in Color and Flight. We used have some Chipmunks that are cute and fun to watch, I used to call them My Friends, because they would come out and sit on top of a log pile facing the window where I was watching them, they knew I was there, that is a Praise Jesus moment!!!
You Church look for the Spectacular instead of the Simple. Jesus Wants, Desires His People to Understand and Give Praise as a Part of Your Daily Life, but, YOU Must Desire the Simple things that He Provides and YOU Must Desire to Know God and His Creation. We Must Learn to Praise Jesus in Death and in Life as well.
Psalm 72:18-19 KJV
"18 Blessed [be] the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. 19 And blessed [be] his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled [with] his glory; Amen, and Amen."
You need to be Looking, to be Aware of The Blessings we have and Praise Jesus for them all. Like running late for work, that if you had left on time you would have been in an accident or you get the wrong seat somewhere and the person you are next to needed Jesus in their Life and Jesus put you there for that one reason only or being in a crowed line and you start Worshiping Jesus just loud enough for close people to hear you and someone says Yes Praise Jesus!!!
There is an Opportunity to Praise Jesus everywhere you go and if You are Walking IN The Spirit you will See things that Jesus and The Holy Spirit will reveal, but You must be Looking!!!
I have Seen Praise bring forth Miracles that otherwise would not have come, like my Truck. I Prayed and Praised Jesus for just a simple Truck to get back and forth to work and be able to haul things and Jesus Blessed me with a Newer Truck, that had so much more than I Prayed for, in fact when I got this Truck, The Lord presented me with Two Different Trucks and said Choose and I will Bless you, so I did. Because I Praised Jesus for the Truck that He Blessed me with, He said He would take care of it. Little did I know, two months later I lost my job. Jesus made sure that I did not miss a payment, Praise Jesus, Jehovah Jireh MY Provider!!!
I will not go on, but Church, Learn to Praise Jesus for Everything, big or small it does matter. If you only Praise Him for the Big things, then for you, there will be very little given and to those Who Praise Jesus for even the Small things, Your Cup Runs Over With Blessings!!!
