1. High strength high manganese steel, high chromium cast iron, alloy steel, malleable cast iron or other wear-resistant materials are usually used in the plate hammer of impact crusher. High strength cast steel is widely used in China.

2. Besides the common strip shape, there are T-shaped, S-shaped, I-shaped, grooved and other shapes, and the strip shape is widely used.

3. The repair of plate hammer can be overlaid with wear-resistant materials in carbon steel plate and high manganese steel group.

4. The weight difference of each plate hammer of impact crusher should not exceed 50g, otherwise it will seriously affect the balance of the machine.

5. When replacing the plate hammer of the impact crusher, all the plate hammers must be removed for surface replacement to prevent the rotor from losing balance and the internal vibration of the crusher, resulting in production accidents.

6. The gap between the plate hammer and the grate plate should be consistent, and the error should not exceed two millimeters.

7. The impact crusher can't swing away during the operation due to the too tight plate hammer, which causes the vibration of the crusher.

8. The number of plate hammers is related to the size of the rotor. The larger the rotor size, the more plate hammers.

9. The fixing methods of the plate hammer on the rotor are as follows:

① The bolt is used to fix: the bolt directly on the plate hammer is easy to cause wear, and the screw is also easy to cause fracture.

② Press plate fixation: the plate hammer is usually inserted into the groove of the rotor from the side, and the two ends are pressed by the pressing plate, which is easy to loose.

③ Wedge fixation: wedge is used to fix the plate hammer on the rotor. Under the action of centrifugal force, it will be more tight and convenient to disassemble and replace.
