Oxford Dictionary: extreme admiration, love, or reverence for something or someone
Greek Definition: utterly idolatrous:—wholly given to idolatry; image-worship (literally or figuratively):—idolatry.
Hebrew Definition: a healer; Teraphim (singular or plural) a family idol:—idols(-atry), images, teraphim. Teraphim: idols, or household god(s)
Brothers and Sisters there are too many of you that fall into this trap, into this sin. If the above Definitions do not bring Light to this Darkness then Understand the following Scriptures…
Exodus 20:3-5 KJV
"3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;"
Lets break this down to today’s Society, what is in The World that we should not do, nor participate in. in this country, the United States, people Worship, Praise, Waste Money, Have Posters, Items, Body Disfigurement and Time Given for Idolatry of a Man, Woman, Child, Item that they have placed upon a Pillar Of Sacrifice to others.
To those who call themselves of The Office Of A Pastor, who has allowed such things, I Rebuke!!! For you will be held accountable for leading the Flock Astray, allowing Idolatry to Rule over Jesus!!! Oh, you say when have we done such things? You do it in more than one way! First most of you are governed by a Board that Dictates What, When and How you can minister the Word, in such ways, you have Placed Them Upon A Pillar Of Authority, having Jesus, if at all, secondary!!! Bowing yourself down to Their Authority instead of God’s Authority!
In another area dealing with these Pastors, two things are of an Idolatry Base, let the people who enter in to a church, get out Their Watches, for your time here is of a Sacrifice to you. The Message, if it were from Jesus, can only last 20 - 30 Minutes, if any longer they, both the Board and the People would rise against such a thing.
Also to those who call themselves Pastors, who allow Ministry to take a back seat when it comes to Sports. If there is a Game that intrudes the Time Allotted At church, then the Game would have precedence. Stop any message before the Work of The Holy Spirit might be done or even worst you are part of the crowd and make sure your message is just right so that you may also attend , watch such things!
Our Lord Jesus would Minister for hours and days before being done, to make sure that the Word of His Father was to some understanding for the people to grasp!

Enough with you so called Pastors who lead the sheep astray into Idolatry!!!

Now to the Brothers and Sisters not within an Office, chosen by Jesus, in one of the five, Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher, for you say, “Where have we committed Idolatry?”. Some of you have placed your Wife, Husband and Children upon Pillars Of Praise and Admiration in whatever activity THEY Pursue! This goes beyond telling them they did a good job or have done well. You on one hand Worship Them and Their Abilities, then on the other hand put them Above All Things. Now, before anyone goes the wrong direction here, or misuses Scripture, this is not dealing with a Marriage of a Man and Woman, but let not the Scriptures they stand on be corrupt! In the case of Idolatry that I am speaking of, is that you would do anything Against Jesus to make sure they will meet Your Admiration For Them, Your Worship Of Them, Your Commitment To Them in Ungodly Ways, that brings No Praise or Honor to Jesus!!!
Galatians 1:10 KJV
“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."
There was a point in my own life that I was forced to a degree to Honor my children above doing what I knew was right before Jesus, it was a big battle within my house, as there were four against one. I finally set my foot down and said no more, by doing so some of my children did not receive awards from School Activities and have hated me because of this.
Do you know the Work Of Satan in your Schools? The Schools on purpose schedule Games, Activities on Sunday and during the same time you would attend church, whether it be local or an out of town event. By you giving into such things, you put Your Child above Jesus or even if the parents are coaches the same applies, Jesus is Not First In Your Life!
Moving on to all of the Brothers and Sisters in Jesus, The Christ, how many of you buy memorabilia of a Singer, Football, Basketball, Soccer or whatever sports figure or event figure, in doing so you just Idolized Them in two ways. One you have Purchased a Graven Image Of Adoration , two by doing so you have placed them upon a Pillar not only to yourselves and to those whom you made the Purchase For, not only to the Person but to their Event Promoters.
How many of you have Autographs? In doing, you have committed Idolatry, we are not to Seek Another’s Glory, but only the Glory Of Jesus, Our Savior and Lord!!
How many of you have Purchased Tickets to an Event of an ungodly amount? Let there be a Big Name and the Cost Of Idolatry can be very expensive. Some of you use the Excuse, “…It will only happen Once In My Life Time…”, this is Idolatry! It would not matter if The World was doing such things, because we are not to be a part of The World in their doings, but this is happening within the Body Of Christ on every level, in every church!!!

How many of you, Brothers and Sisters place a High Value on Things? Such as Cars, Boats, Homes and list goes on. These are Just things that can be replaced, they have No Eternal Value! But yet you will labor in making sure that other’s know you have such things of Your Glory or you will labor at making sure that it is Placed Upon A Pillar Of Great Importance, above Jesus and others. Do not get me wrong, we are to take care of the Gifts that Jesus gives us, not to take them for granted who has given them to you, but there is a point of take good care of an Item and allowing that Item to Control You By Caring For It, so that it is Not Used as it was designed for in many ways.
Everything under the Sun, on or off Planet Earth can be Idolized, can be put Above Jesus, His Word and The Holy Spirit. Everyone has The Opportunity to Fall into this Trap Of Disobedience!
I have items that are old, that hold memories, but they are just items to be used to Glorify Jesus. If they get lost, stolen, broken My World will not collapse because of, I would buy another or recreate another for the same use.
Brothers and Sisters we must be on our greatest watch of what we hold dear to us and the question must be asked within ourselves, is there a Person, Place, Thing Above Jesus, would you put this Person, Place, Thing above Obedience To Jesus. Too many of you think that Idolatry is some Big Sin, in which it is, but you have made it a lie to yourselves so that you may continue. You Use the following Scriptures to Justify your sin because you have placed Idolatry to far up the ladder of sin…

"19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
Colossians 3:5-7 KJV
"5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them."
We, Brothers and Sisters, are not to put anything with an Emotional Value Above God’s Word, no matter how small or how large it may be. There was a question at one time that Jesus asked me, He said if you were to lose everything would I still be Lord?, this was a message I had to deliver in Church once, because many were involved in Idolatry that they did Not Understand. Jesus was asking if everything that we Hold Dear, Have An Emotional Attachment To, were taken away, would you still Serve Jesus As Lord Over Your Life? It is a question that needs to be asked, is there anything in my Life that I Idolize that takes The Place Of Jesus and His Word? The List can be from A to Z, Big or Small, Alive or Dead, Any Object or Event, we are to be Detached from such things, that Jesus can use us as Vessels Of Honor To His Glory.
