Different Types of Rubber Stock Isolators

Rubber shock isolator is rubber-based isolator. It is characterized by low bearing capacity, large rigidity and creeps effect. The damping coefficient is 0.15-0.30. (2) shear type rubber stock isolators

This kind of wire rope vibration isolators are mostly used in the situation of low stiffness in the main direction of action, or in the mechanical vibration isolation with a light load and low speed, and their vibration isolation effect is good, but their stability is slightly poor. Shape and structure can also be diversified.

(3) rubber shop isolators

This kind of isolator is a kind of compression rubber shock isolators placed obliquely. Its structural shape is changeable, and its internal and external shape is different. The stress angle is mainly pressure and shear. It is often used in the situation of high requirements for vibration isolation and stability. Sometimes, it needs three-way equal stiffness vibration isolators, which are mostly solved by combining the structure shape.

The application and characteristics of rubber stock isolators

Rubber shock isolators are wire rope vibration isolator with metal parts as the framework, rubber as the elastic element and vulcanized and bonded together, so they are sometimes called metal rubber shock isolators, which are the most widely used vibration isolators at present, mainly used for the vibration isolation of general mechanical equipment (fans, compressors, water pumps, air conditioning units, etc.) and various engines; automobile, train, urban rail transit. Traffic equipment such as communication, aircraft and ships can not be separated from rubber shock isolators; Some stamping and forging equipment also use rubber shock isolators to isolate vibration.

The main features of rubber stock isolators are as follows:

(1) the shape and size can be freely selected, the manufacturing is relatively convenient, and the hardness change is easy to adjust. The rigidity in three mutually perpendicular directions can be arbitrarily selected according to the needs, and the rubber shape, internal and external structures can be changed to adapt to the needs of greatly changing the rigidity and strength.

(2) rubber material has proper damping, which can absorb vibration energy, especially for high-frequency vibration energy. It is obvious that the absorption is above 30Hz. When the vibration machine equipped with rubber shock isolators passes through the resonance area, even when it is close to the resonance area, it can be used safely without excessive vibration, so there is no need to configure another damper.

(3) rubber shock isolators can significantly reduce the high-frequency structural noise (generally, it can reduce the structural noise in the frequency band of 100-3200hz to about 20dB), which is very beneficial to the control of noise.

(4) the effect of impact resistance is also good.
