Friends, Wise words from our IEA team leader this week, “We know that as the weather turns cold, outdoor options for gathering decrease while family/neighbor gatherings increase with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas. All of this means there is even more reason to followthe 3 “Ws.” Mask skeptics remain, but the data is strong: wearing a mask decreases your exposure to the virus and increases protection for those around you. With theincrease in young adultswho are often asymptomatic, it is all the more important thatwe all erron the side of caution and wear a mask, social distance, and wash hands. I know it is not fun, but no one wants to unknowingly spread COVID and see illness or death as a result. Thatwould be a terrible thing on one’s conscience.”
