According to the import export trade data between China and the "One Belt And One Road" countries in 2018, in terms of the proportion of China's regional trade volume, the total import and export volume between the eastern region and the "One Belt And One Road" countries in 2017 was 1,149.41 billion us dollars, accounting for 79.8%, ranking first. The western region, central region and northeast region accounted for 10.0%, 6.0% and 4.3% respectively.

From the perspective of export, the eastern region's export to "One Belt And One Road" countries is 622.49 billion us dollars, accounting for 80.4% of China's export from "One Belt And One Road" countries. In terms of imports, in 2017, imports from "One Belt And One Road" countries in the eastern region amounted to $529.62 billion, accounting for 79.1% of China's imports from "One Belt And One Road" countries, followed by western, eastern and central regions, accounting for 11.2%, 5.5% and 4.1% respectively.
