    Senior Pastor, Keith Battle

When Keith Battle first began preaching in the late 1980s, those who knew him would often hear him say he would never want to be a Pastor. What an awesome responsibility! This mindset came from a combination of him loving what he did as an Itinerant Preacher and from the difficulty that many Pastors seemed to go through and experience in starting and maintaining a church. Yet, apparently the saying is true, “never say never”.

In the late 1990s, Keith was greatly motivated and influenced by a couple of books that he read that were written by successful church planters — Rediscovering Church by Bill and Lynne Hybels, and The Purpose-Driven Church by Rick Warren. This is when the first seed f

PSJBC believes that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man. (John 4:23-24, Matthews 28:19)
PSJBC believes that Jesus is the only ONE to reconcile us back to God. We believe that He lived a life of no sin, and He took our place on the cross and died for our sins, and rose from the dead. (Luke 1:34, John 1:1,2,4,18, Romans. 3:24-26, 8:34)
PSJBC believes there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the wicked. (Acts 24:15)
PSJBC believes that the bodies of the righteous will conform to the glorious spiritual body of Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
PSJBC believes that each and every one of us is guilty of sin and to receive forgiveness we have to confess our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and surrender our lives to His will. (John 1:1-3, 14; 3:1-7, 16, Hebrews 10:4, 1 John 2:2)

PATHWAYS 2 PRAYER…A JOURNEY WORTH TAKING

Begins Monday, February 1 – Friday, March 26

In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Psalm 5:3

Are you hungry for more of God?   Did you know that the success of your future hopes and dreams is dependent upon your ability to hear the voice of the One who created you? Is it possible that you have allowed your busy life to cause you to neglect the most significant time of the day—building “me time” with God—just you and Him?

Pathways 2 Prayer not only offers keys to building an intimate relationship with your heavenly Father; but, provides keys to help you activate your authority in the spirit. The women of the Get Noticed Academy believe we can only heal and restore personally, professionally, spiritually, and nationally through intentional and purposeful prayer.

You are invited to take an eight-week, 40-day online self-directed prayer journe

Charles Stanley - Read InTouch Daily Devotional

It all began in 1972, when a half-hour program called "The Chapel Hour" was launched on on WXIA-TV 11 and WANX 46, Atlanta-area television stations.

Impressed by the young pastor and looking for a practical Bible teaching program, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) contacted Dr. Stanley in 1978 to request the program's inclusion on its new venture—a satellite distribution network to cable systems. The broadcast grew from a few thousand local viewers to a nationwide audience in a single week.

Today, "In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley" can be heard around the world via radio and television broadcasts, podcasts, the handheld In Touch Ministries Messenger, In Touch Apps, and right here on the Web. Our programs are seen and heard around the world on more than 2,600 radio and television outlets in more than 50 languages.

In addition to broadcasting, the ministry continues to produce CDs, DVDs, books, discipleship resources, and the award-winning In Touch magazine which is deliver

    ABOUT THE FILM
    NOW STREAMING

The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song is a moving four-hour, two-part series from executive producer, host and writer Henry Louis Gates, Jr., the Alphonse Fletcher University Professor at Harvard University and director of the Hutchins Center for African and African American Research, that traces the 400-year-old story of the Black church in America, all the way down to its bedrock role as the site of African American survival and grace, organizing and resilience, thriving and testifying, autonomy and freedom, solidarity and speaking truth to power.

The documentary reveals how Black people have worshipped and, through their spiritual journeys, improvised ways to bring their faith traditions from Africa to the New World, while translating them into a form of Christianity that was not only truly their own, but a redemptive force for a nation whose original sin was found in their ancestors’ enslavement across the Middle Passage.
