    Be sure to check out NETFLIX this weekend, Friday, November 20th,  when VOICES OF FIRE follow Pharrell Williams’ hometown community as it builds one of the world’s most inspiring gospel choirs.  Pharrell’s uncle, Bishop Ezekiel Williams is featured in the series as the leader of this team of influential gospel leaders, including the legendary Peggy Britt as they venture out into Hampton Roads to find undiscovered talent.  With the belief that diverse backstories can give their collective voice a greater meaning, the Bishop and his team will be searching for people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds.  Their ultimate goal is to build a great choir that will showcase the new talent that will be seen around the world.

    When Keith Battle first began preaching in the late 1980s, those who knew him would often hear him say he would never want to be a Pastor. What an awesome responsibility! This mindset came from a combination of him loving what he did as an Itinerant Preacher and from the difficulty that many Pastors seemed to go through and experience in starting and maintaining a church. Yet, apparently the saying is true, “never say never”.
