Dr. Tasheka L. Green
From her love for God and people, to her integrity, creative teaching, coaching, inspiring, and leadership skills, Dr. Tasheka L. Green works tirelessly to ensure that all people she meets reach their maximum potential. She is a worshipper, wife, mother, transformational leader, educator, inspirational speaker, coach, entrepreneur, author, psalmist, philanthropist, and learner.
This extensive background has allowed her to touch and inspire many lives. In general, her heart leads her to benefitting all people on their journey to greatness. Dr. Tasheka L. Green is a scholarly and virtuous woman of extraordinary faith, vision, talents, presence, and accomplishments, which have allowed her to obtain a plethora of recognitions and awards. She is a graduate of Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in School Administration and Supervision. Dr. Green holds a Doctorate degree for Humanities and Philosophy. Additionally, she has studied with various universities and leadership centers to become a certified coach, personal and professional developer: Harvard University, Center for Creative Leadership, Gallup Clifton Strengthsfinder, The Arbinger Institute, and Laura and Bruce Lipton Learning Focused Supervision and Coaching.
A born leader, Dr. Green serves in church, educational, community, local, and civic organizations with a view toward making situations better than she found them. Her service in the field of education for seventeen years has provided educational guidance and professional learning to executive leadership, central office staff, teachers, students, and parents. Currently, she is serving as an Instructional Director overseeing fifteen schools, 6,000 students, and supervising fifteen principals in a large urban school district. Dr. Green is featured in the Harvard University, HarvardedX Course, Introduction to Data Wise: A Collaborative Process to Improve Learning & Teaching for her innovative coaching approaches to employ the Data Wise Improvement Process to impact systemic change within an organization. Because of her competency with bringing coherence to improving culture, systems, structures, and people, Dr. Green is sought after by many.
Dr. Tasheka L. Green is the CEO and Founder of To Everything There Is a Season, The Deborah C. Offer Bulgin Business and Leadership Development Institute, To Everything There Is a Season Publishing, The Deborah C. Offer Bulgin Memorial Foundation, Incorporation and the Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence Awards, and most recently Signature. To Everything There Is a Season is built on four pillars that will “lead people to their dreams and visions by providing them with supports to help them attain their hearts’ desires.” The Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence Awards honor women who impacted their community and world with servitude and humility. Dr. Green was honored as a recipient of the 2017 Metro Phenomenal Women Founders Award. She is a member of Sister 4 Sister Network Inc. and a supporter of the Mrs. Maryland International 2017 Beauty from Within Anti-Bullying Campaign and Pay It Forward movement.
In April 2014, Dr. Green released the book entitled To Everything There Is a Season: It’s your season, go and live. In October 2016, she released the book, I Am Still Here Living a Purposeful Life. Her most recent motivational book, What’s Your 5-1-1? A 28-Day Guide to Discover Your Purpose, was released on April 1, 2017. Most recently Dr. Green and her seven-year-old daughter, Mikayla authored the book 10 Purposeful Tips for a Successful School Year. The book is written from the perspective of an educator and a parent of a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Behaviors. She is a contributing author for Behind the Scenes of a Phenomenal Woman. She created a single recording for iTunes, Go Where God Lead. Dr. Green facilitates a series of masterclasses entitled, I Am Still Here Living a Purposeful Life, and an annual conference, I use to think, but now I think, to help people discover and fulfill their purpose and power.
Dr. Green is a true worshiper who radiates with the love and joy of the Lord. She is a member of The Gathering, in Forestville, MD, where she has served for 20 years under the leadership of the Honorable Bishop Donald A. Wright, Pastor, and Lady Dr. Nakia Wright. Dr. Green is married to William Green Sr., and they have three beautiful children: Marquis (20), Mikayla (7), and William Jr. (5). Overall, in order to meet the desire of “living a purposeful life,” Dr. Tasheka L. Green endeavors to walk in the ways of a virtuous woman (Proverbs 31:10-31), to be in the center of God’s will, to influence change, and to be an example of Christ in the earth.
