The National Resource Society for Women Veterans (NRSWV Inc.) is organized as an independent 501(c) (3) located in Prince George’s County, Maryland.  It is the headquarters of the RFWV  Inc. Network.  The RFWV Inc. Network operates as a nationwide partnership: legal independent entities that share common mission and a national brand.  Currently, RFWV  Inc. has one location operating throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and impacting the lives of hundreds of women veteran and their families.  However, RFWV Inc. seeks to assist many out of the millions of veterans and thousands of WV who can benefit from our programs.

Career Assistance

We provide access to Job fairs, resume evaluation, practice interview sessions, and more. Career counselors are equipped to work in many different industries.

Housing Assistance

Homelessness can be prevented. Get assistance with purchasing a home, finding rental housing, home maintenance, and avoiding foreclosure.

Career Coaching

We offer workshops to assist in developing informed decisions about career development and trajectory and to develop concrete steps that can be taken to achieve career objectives. We also offer training courses on various tools to use to meet those goals - resumes, cover letters, LinkndIn profile, etc.

Life Coaching

Using one-on one coaching sessions, our coaches use questioning techniques reflective, and prospective challenging practices to help women create action plans. These sessions are meant to propel forward action, showing women how to increase their self-awareness, clarify their goals, raise confidence and commitment and identify paths forward. Each person comes away with a plan for her next life steps.

Workforce Development

We prepare women for the workplace by increasing their skills for the current workplace and providing tools to get the job.

A Veteran Community Helping Veterans

As service members we know what it's like to transition. Therefore, we use our experience of leadership to continue our mission to help our peers understand the importance of utilizing resources they may not be aware of. By helping them to transfer their inner core of skills to civilian life, we become a stronger community. We look for strong possibilities and make them become a reality for others who are hoping to bring their visions alive.

Our civilian partners have the passionate drive to deliver positive, resourceful outcomes for our heroes. Supporting with honor to whom honor is due. They realize, it takes courage to serve others who have served you most of their lives. For this very reason, they give back in an enormous way by volunteering and giving their best so that our veterans can have continued success.

Our corporate partners understand what we have experienced, and want to help our veterans continue to grow, lead, and drive our economy in an upward direction. Partners are a key to our resource division, and we welcome positive and resourceful solutions that will provide leverage to our veterans in transition.
