The Griffin family’s story is one of perseverance and unity. In the Griffin household, faith development was essential; education was for their empowerment followed by other pursuits. Life in the US Army provided a unique environment for the Griffin family to grow. They were privileged in assignments to Fort Carson, Colorado; Okinawa, Japan; Fort Lewis, Washington; New Orleans; Seoul, Korea and Fort Hood, Texas. While assigned to Fort Lewis, Washington; the Griffin family could often be found visiting Mount St. Helens walking the trails, climbing the snow-covered slopes of Mount Rainier, or ice skating in Portland, Oregon. The Griffin’s finally nested in a place called home in their final assignment at Fort Hood (Central Texas).
In addition to strong faith and belief in prayer, the Griffin’s supported their children in all their endeavors. From Junior High to High School, Jackie attended every practice and game for RG3 and many practices while at Baylor University.
Jacqueline Griffin is a member of The First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Upper Marlboro Maryland which is under the awesome Leadership of Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr. and First Lady Trina Jenkins.
Jacqueline Griffin’s greatest joy comes from serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She says that the joy of the Lord is her strength and she will serve the Lord all the days of her life.
