Brief introduction about yourself or business services?
I retired from the US Air Force in 2010. On, Oct 1, 2010, God whispered in my ear “Praying for Pennies” and told me to feed His people and shelter the poor. I responded “OKAY!” I had no idea how to begin a nonprofit organization, but started on God’s mission trusting in His word and paths. Five members became an official nonprofit organization on January 29, 2020. During the pandemic, everyone was running inside, we ran outside taking food and supplies to seniors, the homeless and all in great need. We have a One Cent Budget Plan encouraging people to learn the basics STEPS of financial freedom. We bless children with coats, shoes and uniforms (School clothes) that personally fit them and backpacks filled with 50 item school supplies. We love all people as God so loves us! Our goal is to collect 1 BILLION PENNIES in 10 years. See if you could do the math without a calculator (smile). We do not see the stop of making pennies as a negative, as many people thought of us once this happened. We hope to collect all of them! Please help us grow!
