Zion’s Daughters Dance Ensemble Inc. ®️ (ZionsDtrsInc), is a faith based 501(c)3 non-profit community outreach dance organization established in 2009. This organization was called into existence by God and given as a vision to Minister Marjorie B. Gorham-Jones, Founder/Executive Director. In the spring of 2012 Mrs. Chari Christie joined as Partner/Executive Assistant and Mrs. Monica Cole as Financial Officer. It’s members range in ages 3 years to 60+. Our mission is to nurture and develop each dancer and empower them as they blossom into self-sufficient, confident young women; while impacting the community through the art of dance, enhancing the church body and enriching God’s Kingdom. Currently ZionsDtrsInc has one child with autism, one that is hearing impaired, foster children and children from single parent households, and very few children from two parent households. Those who have come have found a safe haven in this organization as we reinforce that they matter, “it's all about our sisterhood.”
On August 29, 2021, Zion’s Daughters Dance Ensemble Inc. will host it’s 7th Annual Dance Showcase “It Belongs To You,” this is our first production since the pandemic. We know it’s the Grace of God that has kept this organization together throughout it all. We reopened safely last year on July 8, 2020.
