Fairbanks, AK – Get set for a new experience when it comes to Gospel music, as “Together We Stand” presents the Alaskan Project 2011. Slated to take place near the heart of Fairbanks, Alaska, Gospel music lovers will be coming together for an extraordinary workshop experience with one of the top Gospel Music writers in the country, V. Michael McKay.
Learn about some of the in’s and out’s of writing a good song, the power of lyrics and what it takes to put it all together. Understand the importance of pitch, how to take care of your voice, and the power of united voices in perfect harmony.
This year the “Together We Stand 8th Annual Gospel Music Workshop Rehearsals” will be held at the University Community Presbyterian Church, 1510 College Road, Fairbanks, Alaska, from. 6:30-8:30PM
Become apart of the 200 voice Gospel Fest Mass Choir with no previous experience necessary. The Gospel Fest local community choir will be under the direction of 2 time Dove winner, songwriter, hymnist, conductor, author, and publisher, Music Minister V. Michael McKay. Mali Music along with Jessica Reedy and The Belle will also be supporting the Alaskan Project.
