Raise the Roof Gospel Jam Celebration
The First Baptist Church of Suitland in conjunction with the Suitland Technology Education Engagement Resource (STEER) Center presents the annual “Raise the Roof” Gospel Jam Celebration for anyone looking to have a blessed time in the Lord!
(Suitland, MD, April 20, 2013) – The First Baptist Church of Suitland in conjunction with the Suitland Technology Education Engagement Resource (STEER) Center presents the annual “Raise the Roof” Gospel Jam Celebration on Saturday, April 20, 2013, 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the main sanctuary of the church, located at 5400 Silver Hill Rd., Suitland, MD. There is a donation of $10 at the door. This event is open to all those who are looking for an evening full of praising and celebrating the Lord!
In chapter 5 of the Gospel according to Luke, there is a story of a group of friends so committed to taking a crippled friend to see Jesus that they went through the roof in order to do so. During a time when trials and tribulations seem to be around every corner, often times we need a way to escape it all. Join us as we seek to reach new heights in worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through singing, fellowshipping and a good dose of comic relief.
The event is open to everyone regardless of denomination or church affiliation. Special guests include host DJ Jeffrey “The Takeover” Tyler, featured artist CD Porter, and many more artists. We look forward to you joining us for what is sure to be a blessed event.
