The PG Valor Basketball Team Announces First Open Tryout
Prince George’s County, MD-(2016, July 9) - The wait is over! American Basketball Association (ABA) expansion team and Prince George’s County’s first professional basketball team announced today that they will be hosting their first open tryout for their inaugural season. Open to DMV residents, players who participate in the open tryouts will be observed and evaluated by members of the PG Valor Basketball Team’s operations staffs. Players do not need to attend multiple tryouts.
“We will host a tryout in Northern, Central and Southern PG County and are diligently scheduling three tryouts to find the best of the best players to represent the Prince George’s County area. If a player thinks that he has what it takes to make it professionally then we want to see them at our tryouts and on our courts,” said Team Owner LaDonna M. Smith.
The first tryout will take place on Friday, August 5 from 6 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at New 24 (formerly Run & Shoot) New 24 Fitness and Basketball 6417 Marlboro Pike, District Heights,MD-Court #1. Doors will open for registration at 6 p.m.The other two tryout locations are being finalized and will be announced in the near future.
All applicants must be eligible to play in the American Basketball Association (ABA) and complete the required paperwork. Registration forms are available on the www.pgvalor.com website.
