Due to Popular Demand The PG Valor Basketball Team Announces An Additional and Final 2016-17 Tryout
As the word continues to spread about the newly established PG Valor Basketball Team and their awesome inaugural tryout on August 5, 2016, the demand to add an additional opportunity for Prince George's County's best ball players along with the surrounding DMV areas is here. American Basketball Association (ABA) expansion team and Prince George’s County’s first professional basketball team announced today that they will be hosting an additional and their final 2016-17 open tryout for their inaugural season. Open to DMV residents, players who participate in the open tryouts will be observed and evaluated by members of the PG Valor Basketball Team’s operations staffs. Players do not need to attend multiple tryouts.
“If a player thinks that he has what it takes to make it professionally then we want to see them at our tryouts and on our courts. Our first tryout was good and can only get better. Participants admired and appreciated the hard work and leadership of Coach Chuck and Coach Will. I was in awe watching the entire workout in disbelief that so much hard work and building of a team is finally coming in to fruition, ” said Team Owner LaDonna M. Smith.
The final 206-17 tryout will take place on Friday, August 26 from 6 p.m. to p.m. at New 24 (formerly Run & Shoot) New 24 Fitness and Basketball 6417 Marlboro Pike, District Heights,MD-Court #1. Doors will open for registration at 6 p.m.
