Needless to say its 2010 follow up album is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year.

    With one listen to The Light Meets The Dark it is obvious Mike Donehey, Jeff Owen and Jason Jamison are taking a bold step forward on their musical journey. Once again the songs are poignant and powerful, and in recording the new tunes, the band brings a more seasoned level of musicianship and intensity, honed from relentless touring.

    ABOUT

    MERGE is on a mission to make a change in today's youth by creating an environment where they can build relationships, tackle teen issues and have an amazing time while growing closer to God. MERGE is held on the 1st Friday* of each month from 8:30-11pm. Connect Groups will take place on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Fridays. Each action-packed experience takes place at 600 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD.

    *Please view our schedule for a complete listing of upcoming events. There is no cost to attend MERGE! It's a FREE experience!

    MERGE is open to Middle School, High School and College age youth. The experience consists of praise and worship, dance, games, giveaways and small group sessions all designed to embark upon issues hindering young people. MERGE also feature Christian rap, hip-hop, go-go, rock, illustrative messages and dramas. It is a fun, relaxed, interactive, "come as you are" environment where youth are welcomed and encouraged to grow closer to God.

    Mark Harris on a new tour!
    Mark Harris will be touring New England this February in support of his newest CD "Stronger In The Broken Places". The first evening, in Auburn Maine will be a benfit concert for Lewiston's "The Root Cellar" so if you're in the area be sure to help support this worthy ministry. Beach Music artist Ray Thombs will open the evening with sharing his original tunes.

    The second night of the tour is in Jacksonville, New Brunswick. The Lighthouse Events is very happy to bring Christian Music into Canada once again. Mark wil be performing by himself for this event. Tickets for this event can also be purchased at Promises Christian Bookstore.

    Saturday, February 11th Ray Thombs will be opening again and this event is a special valentine's event with the church providing a free dessert with the concert. You don't need a sweetie to attend... but a sweet tooth wouldn't hurt!
