  • Calling the Commanders Featuring Paula White

  • Jan 25, 2012 to Jan 28, 2012
  • Location: L.B. Landry High School Auditorium
  • Description:

8466469053?profile=originalThis conference is a call to churches across our nation and community to return their emphasis to prayer and discipleship.  Although it is scripturally mandated, these two ministries are often afterthoughts or neglected completely in the life of the church.  This must change if the church is to experience the power and presence of God in such a way that it transforms whole congregations.  Because of this the CCPC features breakout sessions on  prayer and  fasting, spiritual warfare, operating in the spirit, intercessory prayer 101, general session, fitness class, pastoral leadership, youth empowerment sessions, single, saved, and satisfied, married couples, and many more exciting classes. The conference is a three day empowerment weekend experience for the whole family.

    Mission Statement

    “Create, Display, Celebrate”

The CBFF is the main Canada-wide festival dedicated to celebrating film and media works of African-Canadians and those works of African-Diaspora contact, with registered offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. The CBFF’s mission is to increase opportunities for film display, review and content creation across Canada and as such its mission can be defined by the tagline ‘Create, Display, Celebrate’.
The festival itself was set up to address a gap in display opportunities in Canada for theatrical display of works of black origin or culture and defines itself as a ‘celebration event for ALL Canadians to explore, share in and celebrate the many select works that often do not get seen or screened in Canadian theatres.

    About Love Worth Fighting For
The Bible repeatedly uses “father,” “husband,” “bride” and “child” analogies to demonstrate God’s relationship with the church and his followers. There is no better example of the unconditional love God has for us than what we are instructed to have for our spouse and children. Building upon these themes, Love Worth Fighting For is a marriage event, featuring teaching by Kirk Cameron and music by Warren Barfield, designed to strengthen and encourage your marriage.

    About Kirk Cameron
Following the success of his 1980s hit television show, Growing Pains, Kirk Cameron married actress Chelsea Noble and started a family. Today the father of six is an outspoken believer and has starred in the Left Behind movie series as well as the widely acclaimed movie Fireproof that was released in theaters nationwide this past year.

    New Wine/CVM Men's Day

Hosted by CVM and New Wine with Carl Beech, Mark Melluish & Anthony Delaney

Join us for a day of learning, inspiration, encouragement and friendship. Men are probably not the best at making friends and encouraging one another in their life in Christ, but today perhaps more than ever the church needs its men to stand up.

As men we’re uniquely placed to help shape the church of the future because of the difference we can make if we bring our friends into a life in Christ. It won’t just be a day out – during the Iron Sharpens Iron conference we will be hearing from some inspirational speakers, enjoying great worship, offering prayer ministry to one another, but also seeking to build on the day with some follow-on events hosted in your church.

Join us; it could just be life changing!

Cost: £18 per person if booked before 22 November
£20 for bookings recieved after these deadlines
