The Reverend Matthew Lawrence Watley is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Fellowship AME Church, headquartered in Calverton, MD. Kingdom has an active membership of over 5000 people. Laurel Upward Sports is a ministry of The First Baptist Church of Laurel, Maryland. Since 2008, we have been the premier youth sports association in Laurel, offering boys and girls of all skill levels a positive and competitive youth sports experience with an emphasis on sportsmanship and character.

Calendar Friendly Schedule

All of our sports teams practice for 1 hour each week during the season. Games are on Saturdays and last for 1 hour as well. Please note that the games in older levels may last slightly longer than an hour.

Our leagues are competitively priced with other local youth sports leagues. Fees include uniforms, removing the hassle of registering here, then going across town to purchase an expensive uniform separatel

ONE BIG FAMILY

Since its humble beginnings over a century and a half ago, St. Paul A.M.E. has flourished in St. Augustine’s Lincolnville community with ministry endeavors that include fostering community engagement projects, providing assistance to those in need and nurturing youth, young adults, and senior citizens.

The church’s history dates back to 1873, when the Reverend Richard James led a small group of followers into organizing and building the first St. Paul A.M.E. Church structure.

The membership soon outgrew the capacity of this structure. Reverend James, with the cooperation of members, constructed an addition to the building.

Later, the congregation purchased the lot where the church is currently located, on Martin Luther King Avenue.
