Admission is free. No registration is required. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

For Thursday and Friday, the gates to the parking garages open promptly at 6:00 p.m. For safety reasons and to avoid having your vehicle towed, please do not arrive or line up at the gates before 6:00 p.m. or park in any areas not identified as Lakewood Church parking. On Saturday, the doors will open two hours prior to the start of the conference.

Interpretation for the deaf and hard of hearing will be provided. 
Spanish translation will be available.

What is an Among Friends Conference?

This thing called life – it’s hard. But when women get in a room together and start sharing stories, powerful things happen. Camaraderie. Honesty. Laughter. Courage.

An Among Friends conference is a Friday night/Saturday morning gathering that gives women a break from the demands of their lives.  A time to gather with friends, and be reminded that God has not forgotten us. He is not done writing our stories.

Partnered with the Stellar Award winning gospel radio station, Heaven 600, we celebrate our respective anniversaries with "The Legacy Concert." This amazing night of gospel music will include performances by gospel legend and comedienne Vickie Winans, William McDowell, Martha Munizzi and JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise. Proceeds from the concert will benefit HIV.AIDS awareness, prevention and treatment resources through o
