Our Purpose |
| A. | To increase the penetration of gospel music in cities and towns in America through a greater awareness of, and a greater acceptance of, this original contributing art form of Black America to American Music and the world. |
| B. | To preserve and expand the rich, traditional heritage components while increasing acceptance of ever-evolving contemporary expressions. |
| C. | To establish an association that seeks to raise and maintain a high level of quality and proficiency in religious broadcast presentations. |
| D. | To strengthen existing, and to open new channels of communication between artists, manufacturers, distributors, one-stops, retailers and announcers, and to provide a forum where these areas may come together to seal differences and design a positive course for the growth of gospel music. |
| E. | To create a unified body that can serve the world as one voice, crying out in the wilderness the reality of the Christ. |
“I can’t wait to spend time with you at the Among Friends conference. My hope is to give you a safe place to let down the walls, enjoy a good laugh and be yourself — and walk away with renewed courage to take on life’s trials. I yearn for all of us to leave knowing that God is not done writing our stories.”
This thing called life – it’s hard. But when women get in a room together and start sharing stories, powerful things happen. Camaraderie. Honesty. Laughter. Courage.
An Among Friends conference is a Friday night/Saturday morning gathering that gives women a break from the demands of their lives. A time to gather with friends, and be reminded that God has not forgotten us. He is not done writing our stories.
Hope to see you there!!!

The Light Meets The Dark now available featuring "You Are More" & "Healing Begins"
Rarely has a new band delivered an album with more emotional punch than Tenth Avenue North’s 2008 debut Over and Underneath. Musically inventive and lyrically compelling, the collection helped earn the band the New Artist of the Year accolade at the 2009 Dove Awards and placed them in headliner status on its fall tour. Needless to say its 2010 follow up album is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year.
With one listen to The Light Meets The Dark it is obvious Mike Donehey, Jeff Owen and Jason Jamison are taking a bold step forward on their musical journey. Once again the songs are poignant and powerful, and in recording the new tunes, the band brings a more seasoned level of musicianship and intensity, honed from relentless touring.

Whether leading worship at Gateway or in other settings around the country, for Kari, the work of ministry always comes back to people. "I am moved by people's lives and stories, and I am amazed by who God is and who He says that we are. Music becomes a way to minister to people in times of trouble, to lead them to the feet of Jesus who can bring peace, life, hope and healing."
