Each December the church body joins together to present a celebration of Christ’s birth.  Thirty years of continual praise has come from children as young as 4 years old to adults who are 83 years old who are raising their voices, acting, working behind the scenes, or adding energy through choreography.  Innovative lighting, snow falling on the crowd, and Monks who have taken a vow of silence yet still find a way to present the “Hallelujah Chorus” all bring interest to the program.  Presented to the community each Christmas season, the Christmas Celebration has become a highlight for everyone involved.

Complimentary Tickets Available November 14, 2011.

Jakes made Murdock’s lifelong dream of recording a gospel CD come true when he released her first gospel album, Home, a Top 10 smash.

Over the last two decades, Murdock has dreamed up a new career as an actress in the new holiday musical entitled, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.” Murdock co-stars with R&B veteran Freddie Jackson in the comedy that also features Lisa Page Brooks and Sam Logan.
